Not sure how my original bearings escaped, but when the wheels started to wobble I faced payed $429 for a new pool cleaner or replacing the front wheel bearingsSo I ordered these PVX976PK2 Wheel Bearing which are compatible with Hayward Pool Cleaners & Poolvergnuegen Phoenix Pool Vacuums.The bearings were easy to install after removing the old bearing sleeve from the wheel and the correspond part from the drive shaftSo after installing the new bearings with replacement 896584000-143 & 896584000-082 tires my pool cleaner is operating exactly as it should be for $40 and 10 minutes of my time saving me $430So I highly recommend replacing the bearings before buying a new pool cleaner

These are not stainless bearings and will rust and fail after about 8 to 10 months of service.

Saved $499.00 Even a kid can repair these bearings Just snap off the lock cap, pull off the wheel, push out the old bearing a little Vaseline on surface and press in the new bearings replace the wheel and locking capDONE ( :

The bearings seemed to be perfect however they have already failed. They have rusted within a short period of time unlike the original bearings which lasted 8 years

This product was purchased in September. I started noticed small rust looking spots and I couldn’t figure out the cause. I thought maybe some types of seed or other droppings was the cause. I started to notice my aquanaut going in circles and popped it open. The wheel hubs had rust all over and to my shock when I pulled them the bearings fell out of one side. The other was devoid of bearings all together. On closer inspection both the vacuum and the surface of my pool was filled with bearing.I had to magnet fish to get the rusting bearings out of my pool. Now I have rust spots ALL over my pool surface and had to spend the same money to purchase OEM bearing. Do NOT purchase these!!! Whatever you do stay away. I feel not only should I be reimbursed but the seller should be responsible for covering the cost to fix the surface of my pool. The sellers advertisings is an outright lie. These are NOT OEM quality and definitely not stainless steel bearings. Spend the extra few dollars and for OEM.Amazon should allow a zero star review. Outright shameful.

I purchased these bearings to replace the originals that lasted three and a half years. Purchased these on 6/23, installed on 6/25. On 10/5 I saw the wheel off my vacuum in the bottom of the pool. All the bearing had fallen out of the race and ended up in my filter.I need to replaces again but defiantly looking for another manufacturer this time!Seller saw my review and contacted me to offer a full refund. Lots of integrity there!
