This grill is great. First, I have a well-known gas grill that I use in the RV. It is big and heavy and you have to hook it up to your RV gas or separate propane tanks. I saw this and though I would give it a try. We have a 50amp RV. Most camp sites that support 50amp RVs also have 30amp and 120v plugs on the pedestal. I decided to get this because I can plug a 30amp cord into the pedestal and adapt it down to a standard plug while keeping the RV plugged into the 50amp plug. Now I no longer have to pay for gas. I can just use the electricity supplied by the campsite. This has a grilling side and a flat top. They 8 little cooking trays that come with it go under the elements like a broiler. You can start it in the little trays on the top and finish it off after browning it below. This is light and easy to pack up. I have one issue which is minor, and that is it did not come with a case. Because it is lightweight, I can see it getting bent up if you are not careful. You can fine similar items starting at $55 and going up. I think this is a fair price for what you get. I will be saving on my propane and that alone will pay for this grill. I recommend it.

This is a really cool concept. The idea that everyone can make their own food, their own way is awesome. (Note: do not overfill the individual trays. Doing so will only make it take longer to warm or cook whatever it is that's in it. They're meant to cook slower. And here's why, meat on a grill usually cooks faster than sides cooked on a stove top or in an oven. So you start those before you start meat, unless you're just warming the toppings, cheeses, buns or whatever.) Now the grill and grill tip needs improvement. When making anything greasy, there's nowhere for the grease and fat to go. So it pools on the grill/griddle plate. Most griddles and counter top grills have a drip spout, that direct grease and fat to a drip tray. So unless you'll only be using this for non-greasy foods, you'll need something to absorb the grease. Which can get messy. Very messy, if you're grilling fatty burgers or cooking sausage or bacon. Otherwise this is a cool party grill/griddle. Especially for the picky eaters in our family. Despite the design flaw of no drip tray, this is still pretty cool. And I'd have to slightly disagree with a few other reviews. But only because, I don't think they fully understood the concept or how to use this grill/griddle properly.

I love how hot this grill gets so you can actually get a nice sear on steaks and burgers. The size is great for a couple of people, or if your feeding a crowd. One side is a grill and the other side is a griddle. I don't really get the point of the single serve drawers, they are incredibly small and I would probably never use them. I do wish there was a temperature guide so I could more easily control the heat, but so far I've been using high for steaks, and medium for pancakes, etc.

If you plan to use only the top of this then you are good but trying to use the little pan understand is gonna take you some time because it doesn't cook that well
