This radio controlled tugboat works very well, with one annoying design flaw. It is colorfully made, has flashing lights, and moves quickly through the water. It is responsive to the controls and is easy to drive. Some minimal assembly is required, and the directions are poor, but the assembly is only for the decorative aspects of the boat; the drive and mechanics come pre-assembled. It comes with one battery only, and a charging cable. The design flaw is that it has no on/off switch, hence, the flashing lights will drain the battery unless the battery is removed and disconnected after each use. Considering that the battery connector wire is tiny and thin, continually disconnecting and reconnecting the battery is sure to result in the wire breaking and ruining the toy. Battery life is limited, and the lack of a second or backup battery means that there is limited playing time before a recharge of the battery is required.
