This little sharpener is comfortable to use. The size and the curve of the plastic make it rather ergonomic in your hand. It's a little awkward to figure out, but it works fairly well, if not brilliantly. The bright color does make it easy to find in the bottom of a tool box.

I have two reel manual mowers and I was really hoping this would "tune" them up. Alas, no improvement so I must return it.

Easy to use, just line it up with your reel mower blade and rub the sharpener over the blades. This is a must have with your reel mower as the key to a clean cut is sharp blades. The sharpener does flex slightly up and down to move with the curvature of the reel blade shape.I did notice a big improvement to the sharpness of the blades, but don't expect Japanese knife edge sharpness. I don't know how many sharpenings you will get out of this but for the price its well worth keeping in your garage. I hone my reel motor blades every few mows.

Such an easy tool to use; I don't have to take my blades to the shop anymore. I can just sharpen them right on the mower. It's a good quality sharpener for its size.

I got this for my little reel mower, and I'm thoroughly impressed with the solid construction. It is hefty and not something that will fall apart. If you use a reel mower in your yard, you know the importance of a sharp blade. This kit instantly sharpened my blades very well. It is small enough to get inside the reel easily without binding or getting stuck in the tines. Very impressed.
