The shark that could have been! I want to like this product and kind of do but I don't understand why you would put a camera on the top of a shark above the surface when you could have mounted it on the bellow or below the surface. How much more fun would that have been? You could see all the real little fishies swimming up to greet your shark rather than just the surface which we can already see just fine thank you. OR... why not have kept the camera there and added the diving feature that other products like this already have? How cool would that have been? Imagine swimming around a school of real fish, then diving down through the school and capturing that on video. So cool! Others complain about the speed. Its fine. It's not supposed to be a speed boat. Battery life? It's ok. Could be longer but its not terrible. I think the price is high for what you get. Because the camera is on the top, its not adding that much to the value of the product, at least for me. With some revisions this could be a better product. Not bad though and some kids would love it!

If this was a much cheaper, plain RC shark, it would be fun to use in shallow water along the lake. The camera would be better suited on a fast boat or on something that normally moves straight in the water, not a fish which sways as it moves forward. The camera quality was fine, and the quality of the shark (plastic, assembly, etc.) is actually pretty good. So you may actually like this quite a bit, if you think it is what you are looking for.I have a hammerhead version without a camera that I like.Of course the price is high for all this.

Fun and Unique, but Battery Life Could Be BetterThe RC shark is a fun and unique toy, especially with the camera that lets you see underwater footage. It moves well in the pool, and the design is realistic, making it exciting for both kids and adults. The remote is easy to use, and the two batteries are a good bonus for longer playtime.//That said, the battery life isn’t as long as I’d hoped—it runs out pretty quickly, so be prepared for some short sessions. Still, it’s a cool, fun toy for the pool, just wish the battery lasted longer.

More of a novelty than an actual effective RC toy IMO. Kids will enjoy playing with it for a bit but will probably get bored since its pretty slow and like others mentioned, no diving. I think the inability to really go underwater is the biggest issue I have with this toy. the camera is a neat novelty, but also not the most functional thing due to the fact that it really is just a shark shaped boat with a camera on the front. For this price I would like to see the shark able to at least go a few inches under water. That being said, its is a neat toy and kind of unique since it does have shark movement and all that. It is pretty neat to play with fish in ponds and such. They seem to view this as another fish and can even get aggressive in some cases. I had a bass actually smack the shark when I got too close to their bedding area. I took it out to little ponds here on our golf course 3 or 4 times and then it ended up on the "shelf hobbies go to die" in my garage. I don't see myself playing with this much more. Like I said, more of a novelty to me than a toy I would play with regularly.

Given the price point of this thing (around 80 bucks before any discounts), I expected much more from this. Like one other person said the shark does not dive at all. Also control and maneuverability are pretty terrible as well. The attached tail basically acts as a stabilizer however it can throw the balance off and then the shark tilts to the side. I also tried it without the tail attached and it doesn't seem to want to stay upright that way either. It has two propulsion fans on each fin on the left and right side however functionality and maneuverability are pretty sucky. You would definitely have to play with this in a decently sized and calm body of water for the control not to be that annoying as this thing definitely cannot, whatsoever turn on a silver Dollar, yet alone a dime.I was testing this in my fish tank to play with my large parrot fish however it was pretty disappointing. I fully charged both batteries and found the battery life disappointing as well as it shut off after about 10-15(being generous) minutes of run time. Cool concept but definitely needs a lot of improvement to be worthwhile.

Looking forward to summer time! I recently acquired this "Remote Control Shark with Camera" and it’s been a hit with the kids.Works as intended and easy to control. Whether for kids or adults, this RC shark is a fun and unique toy, especially for pool time. The camera adds a cool twist, allowing you to see underwater as the shark swims around. It’s easy to control, and the battery life is impressive for uninterrupted play.Perfect for outdoor fun and a great way to enjoy pool fun with a little Sharky flair.

This thing is so cool. We set up my ice bath just so we could check it out. Since it's still kind of cool to set up our pool for the year, and figured it would be big for my tiny tub. Or the tub would be to shallow actually. The controls are fairly basic. Easy to use, easy to learn quickly. So far the battery seems at least decent. It charged quickly and has lasted so far very well. It's interesting to use, can't wait to let it loose in the actual pool and really see all that it can do

Kids have been having a great time with this remote control shark in the pool. It's really well made and performs well. It had also held up to the kids playing with it. Very easy for them to use and control. Comes with two batteries for longer play time. Just have to change the batteries out when one runs low. Have not had any problems with the battery compartment leaking. Just make sure you get it fitted on right and screwed down tight.
