This created a huge mess, it's possible I just received a bad one but the coffee sprayed in ways I did not think was possible. I tried this with two different portafilters and there was no difference.It did fit properly in both portafilters and in the machine.

As someone who pulls multiple shots per day with my little home Breville machine using pre-ground espresso, I can confidently say that having multiple dual wall filter baskets (and portafilters) is a game changer. This filter basket looks just like the one that came with my espresso machine and works well. If you're a home barista looking to enhance your espresso experience, I highly recommend adding this filter basket to your setup!

We know. Those of us who use these on occasion are committing a sin. Still though, when you have regular grind these things will produce a reasonable facsimile.This one is well made in terms of materials and manufacture. It fits perfectly in my 54mm filter handle. Yes you can clean your old ones. There are videos out there on how to heat them glowing hot with a lighter or heat gun, quench them in ice water and immediately slam them down on a wood cutting board, which should dislodge the inner plate allowing your to clean it. Or if that doesn't work, just buy this new one.Value: Good

I’m so happy to have found this “replacement” product. This is the most utilized filter and for some reason, it is proned to end up in the trash. Excellent purchase!
