This was a nice gift. However, I question the quality of it. Haven’t got to use it much yet, I just seems as if it may not hold up long with much use.

I bought this for my husband for our 19th, wedding Anniversary! What do you give a guy, who does not need anything? My hubby spent 26 1/2 in the Military, he is a Logistic specialist! He loved it, thought it was well made! At first he thought it was a pocket watch! It’s something he can pass down to our grand boy!

My husband is a very hard man to please much less surprise, so when I came across this compass for our 19th wedding anniversary I was very excited since it was something I knew would be different and very special. Needless to say my husband was speechless and he carries it with him every day. I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality and the fact it came with a leather case was an added bonus! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an original gift!

I bought this as an anniversary gift. It arrived looking dirty and tarnished, and upon trying to gently polish it with a very lightly damp cloth, the ink of the inscription began to wear away.Also, the (presumably vegan leather) case looks cheap and smells awful. Save your money, this is nowhere near worth the price.

My husband absolutely loved this compass! I wasn't sure what to get my husband for our first year wedding anniversary. We are really into exploring national parks and hiking so I thought a compass would be perfect. When I stumbled across this one I was a bit unsure but I'm so glad that I got it. My husband was super excited and instantly checked to make sure it worked (it does). He was impressed that it has a little switch on the side to lock the compass and keep it from spinning around. The engraving was perfect and has a dated look.The top of the compass was a little stiff when I opened it up the first time, but it was fine after that. My husband said he plans to use the compass on our adventures. There's a belt loop on the back on the case. The case is almost like a thin leather, which I was skeptical about, but my husband complimented the case several times. The chain is short but good quality. I'd recommend this compass for both functionality and as a keepsake.
