I had to reduce the size of my wedding ring after loosing some weight. Initially it felt like the ring was slipping off my fingers. Now, after reducing the size, it fits well. Unfortunately it doesn't handle diamond rings since there is no notch cut into the circular ring pit used to resize the ring. Only round rings would work. Now, if you want to increase the size, it will work on any ring. The limitation is on the reduction.

Sizer is great, however the silver plate with the hole wideners are VERY unstable! When you place a coin down and a sized ball and pull down, the coin under pressure will swiftly shift up on to a side making coin into a taco shell. I've tried washing it with a de-greaser, putting a wet small piece of paper towel under coin to keep from sliding up. NOTHING I've tried has worked. But I have a nice stretcher.

this is not a good product I was sent one and the countersink for the steel arm was offset causing the arm to snap the first time I used it on the reducer also the reducer is horribly made it has large grooves in it like it was not even finished it grabs the ring and messes it up I do not recommend this tool spend more money and buy a better one.

The stretcher part works ok, but the reducing die is useless and will destroy any ring you try to reduce. The die has large grooves in it like it wasn't finished and looked to be off center. At first I thought it was a faulty piece and contacted the seller included pictures and their response was that it is normal quality for this item.... So there you have it. Spend a little extra money and you'll be happy you did. I wouldn't recommend this item or seller to a friend.

This is a great and inexpensive ring stretcher. I use it for making coin rings. The housing is made of one piece so it is very sturdy. I have purchased some in the past that were two pieces held together by a couple of bolts. This one is solid and is of good quality. The paint on it nice as well as it has some glittery shine. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was because the coil that holds the splines together at the top started coming apart right away. I would have maybe included a couple of spares. I would recommend this product though, as the coil is a very small issue that can be overcome easily.
