I love the stained glass windows and the transparent dome. Assembling this kit takes patience, and you will need to follow the instruction manual. I refrained from removing the pieces from the wood boards, as after comparing the pieces to the manual, I saw they are not all numbered. The pieces are easy to punch out, but still use caution when taking your time to remove the pieces. This is easy to assemble but takes time and patience. You could do it in one day, but I could only give an hour or less a day, and still working to complete it. The lights are tedious to install but very doable. These are great for folks who enjoy building puzzles. I have assembled a couple of other brands, and this is the second Rolife I have worked with. Rolife makes the best nook kits. I find building these book nooks is ike reading a good book. I don’t want to stop working on it.

This is the second book nook that I have put together and this is very challenging compared to the last one. Glue is not required, which is a plus,, mostly stickers and pieces that fit together. The instructions so far are clear, but some of the smaller pieces can be a little confusing. I don't think there is a wrong way to put them together.There are a lot of pieces, many small, I would rate it as challenging but still very fun.

Quite a cool little kit here. The whole thing is rather heavy, it's not a bunch of super cheap materials. It's fairly complicated and lengthy in it's construction, and I wouldn't recommend it for the very young (it's aimed at adults and teens).Also requires patience, steady hands, and attention to detail. Makes a really lovely little scene that looks super cool up on a bookshelf among the books, lights on and ready for business! I want to get inside and have a coffee... Recommended for the slightly more advanced modeler, but probably do-able by most builders with patience. Not for those that hate reading directions.Recommended! GIDDYUP.

If the title of my review paired with the five stars confuses you, let me explain: I love a challenge. I love to feel like "ARRRGH! I'm never gonna get this!" and then - BOO-YAH! I get it. And that's how I feel with this diorama/book kit (full item name: Rolife DIY Book Nook Kit for Adults European Arcade Street Scene, Miniature House Kits 3D Wooden Puzzle Booknook with LED Lighting, Home Decor Craft Creative Gift for Mom Dad Teens).But the reason it's frustrating for me is because I have severe arthritis in my left hand, and a significant tremor in my right hand. I think if I had gotten this five or seven years ago, it would have just been regular fun, not the frustrating kind of fun - challenging, but in a jigsaw puzzle kind of way.The tiny details are fascinating, and I lose a lot of time to "Oooh, look at this, did you see the cracks in the marble" or "OMG, look at the cat!" I have seven tall bookshelves and several half/low bookshelves, and I'm already planning where I'm going to put the next "book nook" I get. Hopefully I'll be on a better anti-tremor medication by then, though, LOL. I would love for there to be options to personalize the kit with photos or trinkets, but just about every scrap of space is accounted for. All in all it's a pleasant way to spend an afternoon or evening, especially with friends or family - but I wouldn't recommend it for younger kids or those with difficulty being patient.

I really like this book nook! I'm a fan of puzzles and have loved the invention of these great little pieces that give me a project and also jazz up my bookshelf! I am deducting one star due to price point, comparable kits go for almost half the cost of this one, however, if cost is not an object you will love this kit!

This is such a cute book nook style miniature set. The instructions were super simple and you can easily build this within a day or two. However, it doesn't mean it's not a challenge - albeit a well received and very satisfying one. It included all the parts and instructions - the materials are high quality and fits perfectly as they should. It's a bit pricey for the idea, but rolife sets are always so well made the quality reflects in the price you pay. The finished product is enchanting and the added LED attachments makes it magical to display.

Like many miniaturists, I started out with ‘Rolife’ brand kits. The reason for that is that they have a reputation for better quality which is well-deserved. They are also fantastic for beginners because the translation and description is far more accurate and easy to follow than many other brands. So if you’re looking for quality and ease of use, this kit is top notch like other Rolife kits.It’s not my favourite theme, coffee shops, but I’ve enjoyed what I’ve built so far nonetheless. Since I tend to bounce between several kits at once I haven’t yet finished this, but I looked ahead to make sure everything seems good. Like other book nook kits, it’s a lot of fun to build, easy to find room to display and also makes a great gift. It’s easy for me to recommend especially as I’ve used this brand for many years!
