Dominator also offers support in the right places to eliminate all-too-common perineal presure that comes with long rides on a subpar saddle. Hybrid seat design combines SaddleGel interior, progressive-density foam and a Gel-Channel cover to provide Harley riders with unparalleled comfort, control and modern style. Seats using Saddlemen's GEL Channel (GC) technology have a center channel that relieves seating pressure on the perineal area, increasing blood flow, thus keeping the rider comfortable in the saddle for longer time. In addition to pressure relief, the GC-style center of the seat provides an air-flow passage. The rugged carbon-fiber weave and smooth vinyl cover holds up to hard use and still retains its good looks. Every cover is constructed with durable, marine-grade vinyl that resists water and cold-cracking. By using a very large Gel pad for additional foam support and vibration damping, these GC-style seats offer the comfort levels normally found in larger touring seats. Gel-coated, marine-grade fiberglass pans and chrome brackets make sure the seat is durable for decades of riding. The quality, comfort and price point are great. Customer service may be lacking – I have tried numerous times to order a longer seat post for this back rest so it can be used in conjunction with the passenger Pillon and so far have not been successful.

I like the seat so much I bought the matching backrest and am glad I did. Makes the comfy seat even more so. Fore and aft adjustment is a little cumbersome and requires a 10mm wrench (there’s a lock nut and thumb screw to manipulate). Build quality is excellent and there’s even a small storage pouch on the back of the backrest that will hold sunglasses, keys, wallet, or other smaller items. Very handy. Only odd part is the bolts used on the two hinged joints are metric (10mm) and the nuts are SAE (5/16”) - no big deal, just odd. At any rate, a quality addition to a quality seat.

When ordering the font and rear seats together with the back rest, you’d think they would give you the long arm back rest, not the short one.But the quality, fit and finish are great.
