I’ve had two of these and both have had the same issue. As you will see from the picture, the lubber line does not line up with the marks on the bezel. As you rotate the bezel, the ‘clicks’ don’t match the numbers in conjunction with the lubber line. Am I navigating over 20 miles where a small defect can throw you off your destination by a lot? Will it make a huge difference over a 100 ft navigation under water?Unfortunately I will also be returning this second one. Pitty, as it is a solid compass, but I don’t trust that it will be as accurate as it should be for the price.

Great compass for the money. As always, I tend to stick with this brand as it never lets me down. Cost is a little more but you get what you pay for. Easy to read and seems to work just as it should.

You do not get cardinal directions on sides. You do not get the big compass rose on top either. Compass does work flawlessly, but not good for side viewing.

I leave this attached to my BC and tend to use this more than my digital compass on my Scubapro G2. Very easy to get a quick bearing with one hand .

Great for NH diving. Great view from above and long phosphorescence. Side view is the only issue. I have to tile it away to view the numbers. This was resolved with the FS-2.
