I couldn’t get these links to close in any way. Tried first with a chain tool on the chain, extreme force did nothing. Then I tried pliers while not on the chain, still not able to close the links. Then I tried a hammer, nope. I seriously doubt these are made by Shimano.

Bought as back up quick links to keep in my saddle bag in case of a chain failure. Shimano state that the links should not be reused, but I have reused these two or three times in the past before disposing them, and have had no problems.

Definitely need link pliers with this set, I've already removed and reinstalled, very strong. It has me considering compact link pliers for my saddle bag. Not disappointed with the quality. Stock 5800 105, everything turns like there's nothing different. 2 pack, I carry the 2nd with me.

Can't have enough sparing when your chain breaks while you're out riding. Appreciate the ability to fix it if that happens! Always hope for the best, but try to prepare for the worst... appreciate the quick handling of my order!

Finally! A power link for this chain! While pins are ok, but to remove and clean, need another pin. Now the link makes it easy peasy to remove and reinstall.
