We recently purchased a JBL Charge Essential 2 speaker for my husband to use in his classrooms at the university where he teaches. This Silicone Case Cover Compatible with JBL Charge Essential 2 / Charge 4 Speaker fits perfectly around the speaker and functions very well for protecting the speaker. We like the silicone handle on it, making it convenient to carry the speaker. Being silicone, I'm sure this will be a very durable cover that will last quite awhile. The only thing we notice as a concern is that the speaker volume buttons (- and +) are covered and just have the plus and minus signs on the silicone cover to identify. With this being a black cover, it is difficult to see these buttons. All the other top button areas were cut-out. So, I'm wondering if these could have been, too. Perhaps, the thought was that too many cut-out holes in the top would make for a weaker top band. I'm sure that these buttons are more readily visible on the colored silicone cases. We're looking at putting some type of lighter color stickers on these two buttons, so they are more visible. I believe this case is a good value for the money and I would recommend it.
