If you've already got functioning roof racks, these are a super simple, easy way to add additional functionality for long, thin, even fragile items like fishing poles and skis.They attach easily, and they're simple to remove too. That's good, because they're not something you'd want to leave attached all the time for aerodynamic reasons.Overall, they're terrific. It's not something you need to use all the time, but they're perfect for the right situations.

I purchased this because it reviews said it work with the Subaru Crosstrek 2016 cross bars. It does not. The clamp does not tighten down enough for a thin bar to hold to I needed to buy spacers to hold it down. The materials also feel cheap it wobbles like it's about break. The instructions also need to be better.

Lack of decent instructions was a little confusing at first, but got them together. They work great for my 2 snowboards.

Was able to fit this rack to a cargo carrier with very little work. The mounting feet can be adjusted narrow enough to fit the rails of the carrier. Just had a pick up some proper hardware from ACE and I made myself a budget hitch ski rack. Very sturdy, cant wait to use next season!

no installation instructions - so took a little longer to install-after one week some rust beginning to appear on u-bolts and securing nuts - not stainless steel am guessingoverall seems sturdy - locking mechanism works well to hold fishing rods safely

As the subject says, my copy didn’t came in with any instruction manual. I don’t want to wing it as I will be using it in a 4 hour drive as a fishing rod holder, in a freeway.Also just incase you ask, no it is not compatible with Nissan Pathfinder’s aero style roof rack.The concept and build quality is good solid 3 stars.

This is a perfect set of ski/snowboard roof racks - it is well made, has the ability to be locked and has multiple ways of being attached to the base roof rack of different brands including OEM German car roof racks.This fit perfectly with my OEM roof rack for my German car which has a built in groove which then catches the specialized rivet that slides into the rack and secures the ski rack to it firmly and without any possibility of it coming out of the rack. It has multiple ways of being attached to other racks (including some generic brands which use a metal strap system).The rack clicks into place and has the ability to be locked and has two sets of keys.The rack is almost twice the length of my German OEM rack and fits up to 5 sets of back to back skis or two or 3 sets of snow boards.Very impressed with the rack, quality, and number of skis that can fit on it - and the price is absolutely great.
