I got this system last year for my tomatoes on the back patio. It worked really well. I charged it indoors at the beginning of the summer, and the solar power handled it for the rest of the season! Twice a day for three pots. Kudos! However, upon setting up the system this year, I must have thrown away the power cord to charge it for the first time. Bother. How long is it going to take for the sun to give it a full charge so that I can start it up for the season? It's been a partly cloudy day, and so far, I only have one blinking light. That's not gonna cut it.Is there any way I can get a replacement power cord in case I need it?I'll wait a week and let you know if it powers up. It's my own bone-headed mistake that made me lose the power cord, so I have no one to blame but myself for ruining this excellent system.Let me know if you offer replacement parts.Ok, here's my update: it took about 3 days of solid sunshine to power the thing up without using the electric charger that I lost. And now it's working just fine (I use it outdoors only.) We had a couple of rainy days, but it still performed like a champ. I guess there's enough sun to keep it going just fine. I only charged it indoors once in its whole life, and that was the first day I got it last year. I do wish I had kept the charger, just in case. But oh well. It still works, and that's the main thing.

Works well for one growing season. Sat there all winter in southern USA and now that I’m prepping for spring, found out one wouldn’t turn on even after charging up inside and another’s inlet spout broke off when I tried to disconnect the tube to bring it inside to charge. I had three set up and two quit on me.

I have a bunch of 55 gallon barrels we use to water remote trees and even the garden so we don't have to worry about leaving pressurized water turned on when not at the house. I have tried 5 different solar powered watering systems and so far this one represents the best trade off for cost and value. This unit is a bit more simplistic than some of the others but for the price I really like it. It provides a higher water flow than some other units. It does not include a water level sensor but the other units I purchased all used resistive sensors that fail quickly anyway. The buttons and status LED are a little inconvient on the bottom of the unit but easy to access by unscrewing 1 wing nut. Unlike any other unit their User Interface always works as expected and is super easy to figure out. This has the larger standard sized tube which makes using standard tube easier to extend. I like their drip fittings better than the variable drippers used in some other units. This unit does not have a vacuum breaker which means it is susceptible to siphon draining through the pump when the pump is on top of a 55 gallon drum. The work around is to use one dripper at top of the barrel so it drips back into the barrel that way when the pump is off it allows air into the tube to break the siphon. The hokey little one way value furnished with other units always seems to fail anyway so this is the approach I have adopted for all units even those that claim to include a vacuumed breaker. My only real complaint is that I would strongly prefer a tempered glass front solar panel. The one supplied is covered with a plastic film. All my other plastic solar panels degrade within a couple years so kind of expect this one to do the same.

Bought for my outside garden. Was working great as expected. I've had it just under two months now when suddenly is it no longer holding charge. It's in direct sunlight but it's continuing to give me charging error code. I'm highly irritated as I can no longer return. I don't understand how it can work great for over a month and just all of the sudden stop. I first thought I did something so I tried resetting it or changing the position it was facing but no. Now my vegetables wilted bc I work full time 😞 just like a relationship. The honeymoon was amazing but then they did the bate and switch

I live in the desert. I wanted a way to water planters without using a lot of water. I build a covered tub an put my planters on the top. My sprinkler fills the tub and the solar irrigation pump waters the pots. It is limited to 3 branches. More branches do not get enough water. I should not expect that I could add more branches because the pump is very small (solar powered) and is meant to drip the water.Update. I bought another one, but could not make it work. I realize now that I should press on the on/off button for a longer time. This is NOT a click on / off. It is like turning off your phone. Hold down the button long enough to hear a click and see the LEDs light up. I contacted the seller and explained my problem and they shipped out another immediately. AWESOME customer service. I might buy another if I need one, but now I have 3 that work as designed....My front garden will also be very happy, here in the desert Southwest Texas.

I love to grow my tomatoes in grow bags. However, they dry out so quickly in our dry summers. I have been using this for over a month now and my indeterminate tomatoes are looking fantastic. I have also noticed that the blight that starts at the bottom of my tomato plants every summer has not made an appearance so far.I set up my system to water at 5am every morning for 10 minutes. My tomato harvests have been awesome. I have also noticed less splitting of the tomatoes since the watering is so consistent.I highly recommend this system. It has saved me time and my tomato plants are the best I have ever grown.
