I ordered this $10 Unwaver double-male set of brass hose connectors (Amazon ASIN B0F3294J6M) because I have a garden-hose setup that runs my Polaris 380 pressure-side pool vacuum in a pool that has no working booster pump. Due to the way the fittings work, I needed a male 3/4-inch GHT to male 3/4-inch GHT adapter so that two hoses could fit together with one in reverse, since the output from the spigot is always going to be male and the input to the vacuum is also male. These all-brass fittings solved the problem without me having to cut a hose and fit on a female to both ends.The main thing that impresses me about these fittings is they are machined out of solid brass, so they will last forever. They weighed 104 grams for the pair (just under 2 ounces each) on my kitchen scale. I love their solid feel. Like we're back in the 1950s. Each fitting measures about 1-1/2 inches long and the threads are well cut into solid brass. It's a nice touch that Teflon tape comes with the fittings because GHT (garden hose thread) is not tapered like NPT (National Pipe Thread) is, so you want to seal the leaks, even though that's what the obligatory rubber washer is for on the inside of all female garden hose fittings.The Amazon listing says these fittings are made out of "58-3 brass" which typically refers to a specific type of brass alloy comprised of...Copper (Cu): Approximately 58%Zinc (Zn): The remainder, roughly 39-40%Lead (Pb): Around 3% (This is a common addition to improve machinability). which gives brass high strength and moderate corrosion resistance at a good price. It's not meant for drinking water due to the lead content.Overall, this is a beautifully crafted solid male-to-male garden-hose-thread fitting for those situations where you need to reverse one of the hoses. I have the strange situation where one of my hoses has female connectors on both sides. I don't know why - it does not make too much sense. But this adapter handles it by giving one end of the hose a gender change.

I used this adapter to connect a hose to a hose reel. For some reason the hose reel and put a valve just before the reel which required a a female to female adapter. These are very solid adapters. A far better choice than the plastic alternatives. Between heat and torque on the connections when I'm winding and unwinding the hose, I needed something that had durability. No doubt this will do the job. Excellent choice for the price.

These solid brass hose connectors are top quality—heavy-duty, rustproof, and super easy to install. I used them to connect two hoses with 3/4" GHT ends, and they fit perfectly with no leaks. The sealing tape and washers included were a thoughtful bonus and made the connection even more secure. The brass feels sturdy and durable—definitely built to last.

I am very pleased with the quality of products from this brand. I have ordered several types of UNWAVER hose fittings, and have always been pleased with the quality. Actual solid brass, no cheap imitations. Each box comes with plumber's tape to stop any drips, but I have never had to use the tape.Specifically, I ordered these brass female hose connectors in order to connect my rain barrels together, so that the barrel that is easiest to access for using our watering can will refill itself with water from the other, lesser used water barrel. So I had to have a hose with female fittings on both ends. I simply cut off the male end of the hose and attached this UNWAVER female connector. Perhaps I ordered the wrong size, because the fit was very tight and it took awhile to force the fitting onto my hose end. But I secured it with one of the included hose clamps, and the hose fitting worked just fine connecting to my rain barrel. Now, if only it would rain.

I accidentally got a hose that had 2 female ends so I got these so I could use them like a normal hose. They fit just right. I'm using them so I can add a timer to my drip system so I needed a male end to screw into the drip system. With the Teflon tape they don't leak and I like that they have the hex part in the middle so I can tighten them with my wrench.

This is a set of 2 male-to-male garden hose thread couplings. They each weigh about 49 grams and can connect two garden hoses together. Not sure why you would want to do this, but I can almost remember a time that I needed to! I think it had something to do with a sump pump or a flooded basement - memories like that are so fleeting! These are nicely machined and have no burrs - and they come with a small roll of teflon pipe thread tape - which really isn't needed with garden hose threads but it will come in handy for other projects.

I feel like anyone with a yard needs these connectors or will one day need these connectors. I have a couple 25’ hoses entire yard id larger than 25’ wide or long and sometimes I need a longer length of hose. These connectors let me use my existing hoses to make a 50’ length hose. Why not just get a 50’ hose or 100’ hose? Have you ever tried dragging one of those extra long hoses around or coiling them back together then storing that monstrosity? It’s not fun or easy. I rather have shorter hoses for my daily activities which makes everything else easier and have the option to extend them when I rarely need it. My give these things top rating because they will cost you a lot more at the big orange box store. If ever I need more, I definitely coming back here.
