Somehow the original insert had swollen so tightly it could only be removed by shattering it(!) The new one dropped in easy as a coin into an old pay phone. The leveling screws had varying levels of torque resistance (one needed pliers to twist the tiny Allen wrench) but it lifted out easily after setting. Most online prices approached $100.

Perfect fit for my right-tilt Delta Unisaw.(Right tilt means the arbor comes from the right side and when facing the saw the blade can be tilted to the right. There are Left tilt saws. Be sure you order the correct one for your saw.)With an allen wrench I was able to level it perfectly.(Dimensions given in the description have been rounded up.)

A local hardware store was going out of business and selling their floor/display model tools at a significant discount. The Delta Unisaw table saw was missing this insert. This replacement fits perfectly and looks great.

Required some sanding to get it to fit because of the thickness of the paint on the sides. Otherwise fit correctly and snugly.

If you have a truly precision setup, you'll need to resurface this plate to make it trualy machine-flat. But for most users, this is a OEM ready-to-go throat plate. Just adjust the set screws so it's as flush as possible and get to cutting.

Works with 36-650 10” Delta Saw. Not quite the same as the original. As the original plate has a single screw to hold it down. But this plate is the same size and works well once I had it level.
