The unit technically worked well after installation, but after about 30hrs of run time, the screws holding the windings onto the unit backed out, and windings made contact with flywheel. This caused the 15a fuse to repeatedly pop, leading me down long path of electrical troubleshooting, resulting in my finding copper shavings under the front cover. Had to go back through, remove flywheel (again) and replace unit with good used OEM.While the aftermarket electronics can function in a pinch, and you can get them overnight on a weekend like I did, they are NOT made to OEM standards. If you choose to use this unit, make SURE you unscrew ALL of these attachment screws, and use red loctite on them, tightening down well, BEFORE installation. Allow the loctite to set overnight before running as well...Given that I have not been able to ride much the last 2 years with life changes, I am well outside the warranty window. But just take extra precautions if you go with this unit....

Lasted 5 minutes. The bolts that hold the components to the plate came loose. As result the flywheel is also damaged.Out $60 plus flywheel cost, and had to pull the engine again to replace it. Ruined our summer!

This stator was in stalled on a seadoo 717 and lasted all of 2 hours. Do not purchase this product. Cheaply made. Stick with OEM.
