Haven't used it extensively, but it works essentially the same as dupray's neat and neat plus unit. The difference being this one not only gets hotter, but also is able to add water as you use the unit. It also has a much better overall design vs dupray, where they believe it was wise to create a nozzle that cannot be detached from the unit. The unit uses the same accessories you can grab from dupray or any generic of this type of unit, so you can order replacements as needed for pretty cheap.

This steam vac is an easy to maneuver workhorse. It heats up very fast and reached a steam cleaning temperature of 289°. I pressed the button and hot steam came out of the cleaning head and quickly cut through any dirt or residue on the floor, and then I released the button, put the machine into a hold mode which stopped the steam production, and went over the floor with the damp microfiber mop head and scrubbed up any loosened dirt, film and water from my ceramic tile floor. The steam that was produced was very hot, but it was not excessively wet, which left very little water accumulating on the floor. I was able to clean and mop up the water really well when I cut the steam from the mop head, and it only took my tile floor just a few minutes to dry. I did not have any trouble at all with dripping, leaking or excess water, and it performs so much better than the old steam vac that I own from about 20 years ago. It does get very warm, and I was a little bit concerned when I saw the temperature on the reservoir climbing up and up and up, but then I realized that the floor is protected by the mop head and the microfiber pad that's adhered underneath, so it's not actually that degree that was hitting my floor. My floor cleaned up so nicely, and like I said it dried within minutes, and when I walked over it this morning it was so smooth and clean and there were no sticky or wet parts at all. The machine is very easily to maneuver around your room, and the handle and wand are long enough to where you don't have to bend over and it has a good ergonomic feel to it. The cord is really long and it can stretch out over my kitchen and dining room without having to replug it into a closer outlet. I like the fact that the cord does detach and you can store it with the unit but it's not wrapped around or hanging off of it creating any kind of a trip hazard. The reservoir holds about a half a gallon of water, which makes it very nice because it didn't use that much water for cleaning my entire kitchen and dining room, and it's really nice to be able to complete the job without having to continually fill up the reservoir. There are other attachments and supplies which came with it, but I have yet to use those. I will explore what they do, and how they will enhance the cleaning process around my house. I primarily got this to use on my Ceramic tile floors, and so far it works beautifully. I'm really looking forward to trying out the other attachments, because this is a complete cleaning machine which can perform a wide variety of cleaning tasks around the house. I really like the design of the unit, and the fact that it does have a carry attachment across it, and that it is small and compact, and yet it does slide around the floor very easily as you're using it. I have been very pleased with the performance, and it feels like it's something that will last a long time because it is very durable and very sturdy. I know steam cleaning is really good for sanitizing and killing bacteria, and that was one of the main things that I was hunting for as a cleaning tool.

This seems to have a fairly new innovation in steam cleaners: a cold-water tank. You don't add water directly to the boiler, but to a holding tank, from which the machine will fill the boiler as needed. That means you can add water at any time to the cold water tank, and the boiler heats up quickly since it is small and refilled on demand. This is not generally a new idea. Most modern cars have a separate reservoir for adding coolant, not directly into the radiator. Clothing steam cleaners usually have a separate cold-water tank, and water is pulled into the boiler as needed. But most steam cleaners don't have this innovation, so you have to wait for all the water to cool down before adding water, then wait for it all to heat up.There are steam cleaners that heat the steam only to 212F, gently boiling water. But they're much stronger if they go above 212F, and the cost seems to depend a lot on what the maximum steam temperature is. 260F is pretty good, enough for most needs and higher than most steam cleaners I've seen.To get the benefit of the very hot steam, the instructions suggest that you should cover the outlet with a cloth. A few microfiber cloths are provided, but you can just use a cloth towel or rag and tie it on with a rubber band. The purpose is to cover the opening and enclose the steam, making the entire tube a part of the boiler. Your moist cloth will be at almost the steam temperature you set. The cleaning is done by the cloth at the end and some steam and moisture coming through it, not just the raw steam, and it's more effective and even safer. If you leave the nozzle open, the steam will cool a lot by the time it reaches the nozzle, and so you won't have as much heat there. One statistic I have not found for this steam cleaner is the pressure (psi) of the steam. Most steam cleaners give a number for this, but I could not find it either in the product description or the instruction booklet that came with the machine. But since I plan to use it with a cloth over the opening, it will not usually be critical, and it's definitely enough to heat up the end of the nozzle and keep it hot.I like the green color (I believe other colors are also available) and easy portability of the unit, and that the shell of the power unit doesn't get especially hot in use.

I found this steam cleaner to be very easy to set up and use. It heats up quickly and gets very hot. The hose provided is very long so I was able to set it on the floor and clean our headboards which surprised me. It comes with a million attachments for all kinds of cleaning situations. Definitely worth having.

It has a very fast heating system. I'm really pleased with how quick it is. It's compact, so doesn't take up much space. Cleaning is great, I don’t have to go over the same spot a second time. Thanks to its different nozzles, I can easily clean other areas in my home. It meets all the expectations of a steam cleaner.
