Instruction are a joke. SMALL drawing shows a hand holding the Mower Head when it’s impossible to load the string without it being installed on the Mower, for me anyhow. The green string that the Head came with was wound so tight it wouldn’t feed regularly. After I installed orange string it worked fine.

The string broke off inside the head after a short amount of use and the head had to be taken apart to restring it.

Installed in 5 seconds, no tools, no adapters. Came filled with line ! Put it to work, dispenses line SO MUCH better than original spool. Saw a lot of cheap fakes of this product with mixed reviews. I watched a video of a Stihl salesman explaining the FS40C with this head from the factory and the recommended line. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

After watching a video on how to load your strimmer I saw this upgrade which made the whole process easier. Well it certainly does so easy to reload.
