I needed a soap holder for my shower so the soap doesn't dissolve sitting in water. I ordered this thinking it would also be nice to have the sponge to sponge off the walls a bit after showering. There are things I do like, and there are also things I don't like about this product.I do like that you can adjust the tray and then lock it down with the large knob. This allowed me to get it even to keep the soap from falling out. The soap tray has slits in it so that the water drains out, which keeps the soap from dissolving, and even though it is plastic, it seems sturdy enough that it isn't going to crack or break easily. It was easy to install on the shower wall.I don't like that it attaches to the wall using a sticky back instead of a suction cup. I didn't realize this when I ordered it. Once I put it on the shower wall, I wanted to move it, but there is no moving this once you have installed it. I also worry about whether it will damage the fiberglass underneath if I do decide to remove it someday. I wish this had the option to use a suction cup or a sticky back. I also don't like the second tray for the sponge. Initially, I thought this was a good idea until I realized that the water from the soap drips onto the sponge, leaving a sticky soap mess. I ended up removing the sponge tray, which is a plus, and only using the soap tray. It looks a little odd without the second tray, but it functions much better.I think this is a good idea but needed more thinking through.

This is exactly what I needed! We have a tub/shower combo and the spot to put the soap gets hit by the shower water when not being used and just melts away. With this soap dish I could move it out of the direct path of the water, and it can drain and dry out a bit because of the slits in the dish. The dish was easy to apply to the wall and has a very firm hold. Also included was a sponge to catch drips and for cleaning. I like the color and the look of the product also.

The clever design of the JTYIQ soap holder is a real plus for the shower, especially the bottom tray that makes dealing with soap scum so much easier thanks to its removable design. My only initial hiccup was with the suction, it fell once after the first application. However, after a thorough cleaning and ensuring a tight seal, it has held securely. It's very important to make sure the wall is clean and the suction is well-tightened for best results.

So I originally got this soap holder to put my razor and things like that on when I'm in the shower, I'm disabled and I need a chair to sit on and I can't always reach behind me to grab all the things I might need to shave or the soap or the soap for my hair so this serves as a very good helper.It came with a sponge for the second level I'm guessing below the clear level so that if anything drips into it it goes into the sponge and you can clean it out really easy.The first level has little holes in it so anything will drain into the sponge or onto the second layer the second layer does not have any holes so it is definitely a holding bin for any liquids or soaps or anything like that and I think that's why they gave you a sponge so it could soak up into it.Next I'd like to talk about the suction cup the suction cup number one is very it's got a sticky it's got a sticky back side however it also has the piece where you turn and make the section even more stronger so make sure when you make a decision of where you want it that that you definitely do know exact position where you would want it permanently.I think that's the one downside if you call it a downside usually when you play something like this you kind of know really where you want it to be but in this case it's got to be permanent because once you take the little sticky paper thing off and then you make it tighter it'll make a permanent Bond and there will be no mold that's going to go up behind it it's not going to suddenly fall off so they've made sure of that it's not going anywhere.I hope you found my review helpful if you are looking for a soap dish yourself and this is your color this might just work for you perfectly. I know it's work for me perfectly.
