Placed on the back of my travel trailer 5-6 years ago and is still securely attached. Holds 4 adult bicycles.

Easy to install and very sturdy. Given the location of my spare tire on the rear bumper I was only able to fit 3 bikes on this mount but that wasn't a problem because I put the 2 smaller bikes on the rear of my vehicle on a separate mount. I was a bit worried travelling for the first time as the bikes are not viewable while travelling. However, I had them strapped down with ratchet straps and I had no issues whatsoever. With the bikes removed, the carrier acts as a handy table for my Traeger smoker!

I've used our rack on a couple camping trips so far and am impressed with the build quality and sturdiness. It's rock solid and feels like you could put 500 Lbs on it without breaking. But, there are flaws. First, there is absolutely no guidance on how to load/secure bikes to it. There are no straps or even anchor points on it. It's completely freeform. Luckily, I read another review that brought this up so for my first time I brought a huge array of bungee cords, ratcheting cargo straps, etc so I was prepared. The first time putting bikes on took forever as I had to really experiment by putting the three bikes on in different configurations. One important thing to note is that some of the newer, wider mountain bike tires will not fit in the intended tire slots. My son's bike has these wide tires so it wouldn't fit. Luckily, the other two bike's tires did so I had to sandwich that bike between the other two and strap all the bikes together so it wouldn't move. Not sure what I would have done if not for that. Then you just have to strap the heck out everything to make sure it is secure. Next trip I may also take some pool noodles and split them so I can put on some of the metal parts to keep them from moving against each other. What it is really lacking are some moveable vertical uprights that you can attach each bike to and keep them separated rather than having to bind them all together. Also helpful would be some tie down points or hooks. But overall, it's sturdy and works... just takes some creativity when it comes down to loading.

I am not sure what the two uprights are supposed to be used for. For my application, they were just in the way, so I removed them. This thing is built to last. Hauled my electric bike (68#) more than 400 miles. Checked all bolts and this thing didn't have any problems at all.It is a little tricky trying to figure out how to secure the bike, but that is not a result of this rack. Built like a tank.

Good sturdy bike rack however realistically only holds 3 bikes as the first slot allows bike to rub up against RV wall causing damage.I recommend skipping the closest holder to avoid this problem

While on vacation camping at the beach, my family purchased 3 bicycles and wasn't sure how we were going to transport them home. This rack is durable, sturdy and dependable. We have only used it for bicycles and I'm not sure I would recommend it being used for any other purposes. I would add a little bit to the design and place a or some sort of other brace to prevent bicycles or the handles from bouncing into the back of your camper during transport or rubbing the back of it. It would also be helpful when securing the bicycles with ratchet straps. Another thing that I would do to modify the rack is to have a least 1 or 2 spots adjustable to the bicycle tire size. My son has a fat tire bicycle and it was a little difficult to secure onto the rack. We use a cut foam pool noodle to prevent any mishaps with the bikes rubbing against each other or the camper because like the camper will sometimes bounce during transit so will anything attached to it. Even though I mentioned a couple design improvements I would definitely purchase this again if needed and we also recommend it to our fellow camping friends. Overall we are very satisfied with this rack. It definitely gets the job done.

This is not a paid advertisement. I researched several bike racks and purchased this one after seeing it mounted to another travel trailer.I am happy to recommend this bike rack. We just completed a 2900 mile journey with four bikes on the rack, and as full-time RV'ers it will get used constantly. I have the bike rack attached to the 4" bumper on my travel trailer, and it is extremely sturdy. I was looking for something that I felt safe carrying 4 bikes on for many years and this really fit the bill. It is well built and allows proper spacing for the bikes to be secured well. The rack is attached securely at multiple points on the bumper, to distribute the load. We are carrying 3 adult bikes and 1 16" child bike, but I would have no problem carrying 4 adult bikes. The only drawback to this rack is that all the bikes should have similar wheelbases. The rack holds the bikes securely by allowing the wheels to settle into wheel wells. You set the distance between the racks based on the wheelbase of your bike. If another bike has a shorter or longer wheelbase only one wheel will fit securely in the wheel well. We dealt with this by putting the smallest bike in the inside position (closest to the trailer) and strapping it in very well, but only the rear wheel is in the wheel well, with the front tire sitting on the edge of the rack. Even in this configuration, after 2900 miles none of the bikes had moved at all.Visit MovingToAmerica(dot)me to see video and photos of this bike rack in action.

This product is probably spot-on for someone, just not me. The description stated it was for a particular size/kind of bumper and I bought it HOPING it would be compatible. I fear it is not. I had to make some interesting modifications to get the bumper to take the rack and although it worked, it didn't seem secure enough for my comfort. The rack is pretty darn heavy and really seemed to weigh down the bumper; I think perhaps my bumper cannot adequately support the weight of the rack & then with bikes attached. One bummer thing about the rack is it's crazy-hard for it to accommodate adult AND kid-sized bikes. I got it to work but it's a clear dilemma. I am going to try to return it simply because it was a pricey rack and I'm not comfortable with the poor fit with my trailer bumper.
