I got the Talentcell 12V Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery Pack mainly for a small LED light strip setup, and it’s been awesome. It’s compact, lightweight, and surprisingly powerful for its size. The 2600mAh capacity lasts a decent amount of time for my needs, and it charges pretty quickly too. I’ve also used it with a router during a short power outage—super handy. I like that it has built-in protections so I don’t have to worry about overcharging or short circuits. Definitely a great portable solution for anything 12V!

As a Ham Radio Operator, I bought this to power my (tr)uSDX radio transceiver. It was plug and play as received. However, this kit is capable of much more than that. It comes with enough interface capabilities to connect with all kinds of power loads at 12 volts, in many cases without any soldering. It has a charging interface and controller built-in as well. It's very flexible and easy to apply to many situations. Some double adhesive-backed foam tape would hold this to many devices you might want to mount it in.Apparently Talentcell makes a version of this unit that has an active display of battery performance. The version I am reviewing does not have that feature although you might expect it from reading the instructions.Mission accomplished for me, and I've been successfully using it for several weeks with no problems.

I got this for some of my projects, mostly focused on 12v, and I love it. I have 2 other 12v batteries that have 2 pin connectors, and I really prefer this barrel adapter. It makes it quick and easy to charge, and the quick-connect adapter included in the package for the female barrel connector made hook-up quick and easy.

I got this to power some LED lighting that turns on when a cabinet door is opened. Because this is rechargeable and the drain on this battery is small, it is well worth it to me to charge this periodically vs running wiring to power some cabinet lighting. The battery and charger are compact and easy to store out of the way. It took a couple of hours to charge the battery fully the first time so I’m looking forward to seeing exactly how long it will be before I’ll need to recharge it. I do like the fact that it comes with an extra plug that can be wired into whatever you need to power, then can be disconnected or reconnected by just unplugging or plugging it back in.

One of the easier battery packs as it comes with the DC in and DC out connectors making recharging a breeze and charging simple. I wish I got the version showing the remaining battery power. When I connect it to my buck converter it shows that the battery is actually putting out 10.8v instead of 12v even after charging. Luckily the device I am connecting it to requires 5v.Edit: there is something wrong with this battery that it is putting out less than 12v. I tested it against another battery model that has the level reader on it and that one, even with around a 20-30% charge on it will still power 12v accessories. This will not power them at all or even the LED on a different switch that I know works.

I got this to use with my truSDX hf radio and it is working great. Very small form factor and comes with male and female 5.5x2.1mm plugs. The included charger is a bit slow at 12.6v @ .5 amp but you can charge at up to 3 amps. I haven't tested how long I can run my radio just yet but the size was my main reason for wanting it. Pairing it with a small qrp radio you'll be able to make a small kit to take with you anywhere. I've been using Talent Cell batteries for years and have had nothing but good experiences with them, this one is proving to be another great battery.

My first impression of this pack is that it's larger than I expected from the photos, and fairly heavy; but it's rated 28.8 watts-hours and absolutely lasts forever on what I'd call a significant load (a larger DC motor).Although this version of the pack does not have a battery-check indicator on the side as other versions do, the charger comes with a light which turns green when it's fully charged. It may be a challenge to determine whether it's going to run out soon on this version, but it's less expensive. It's well-designed with the leads coming straight out of the pack, but if you protect those leads from being stressed, it should be fine; and it does have short-circuit protection.
