This jig is very well made with markings that are easy to read. The adjuster knobs make it pretty easy to get consistent and accurate cuts. The roller bearings, as mentioned by other reviewers did need to be reversed but I ceded this job to a friend and I have noticed no tendency at all for kick-back. I was hoping to use this jig for my large table saw, not realizing that it would not work with a straight slot. So I have been using it only with my smaller, portable saw and am pleased with the consistently accurate results. I can recommend it for its quality and ease of use.

This is a simple but solid piece of feather board accessory to go on a table saw. The T track glides smoothly with the slots, offering an ease of articulating the pieces through the table saw. The bearing rollers are precise and smooth, offering a clean and precise cut every time. This jig is very simple in design, yet achieves very steady results. There are plenty of other choices out there with more or less features, but this jig offers exactly what I needed with only one slight gripe in that the bearings are directional; and initially I did not pay attention to this until right when I turn on the saw and about to begin ripping; what's when it was obvious that the spin directions aren't matching the indicated arrow. So yeah, had to take the whole thing off to switch the bearing side and got it to work well. First thing I noticed when using this jig is how smooth the feed becomes, the roller bearing really helps pass the pieces through very smoothly; there's literally no friction against the blade using this jig. I really love it; I only hope they also sell a lengthier jig so I can rip some 20+" boards, too. But overall, great stuff; love these wonderous woodworking gadgets on Amazon, always impressed.

This Thin Rip Jig & Feather Boards Combo for Table Saws seems to be made well. The bearings are one-way to help reduce kick-back which seems to work well and has oversize O-rings on them. The unit is designed to cut multiple material to a specific size by just moving the fence after each cut. This saves time not having to re-measure after each cut. One thing I hate is that a lot these manufacturers don't include any type of instructions! And this unit did not include any instructions either. My unit came with the bearings to work with it mounted in the miter slot to the right of the blade and having to move the fence to the left of the blade. I don't use my saw this way and I figured the one-way bearings could be reversed in the other direction by just flipping them around - WRONG! After studying the unit (That Did Not Come With INSTRUCTIONS!) I figured out that you needed to take the top plate off by removing 5 hex screws and then 4 longer guide screws underneath the plate. Then by flipping each of the two arm assemblies with the bearings and springs around and reinstalling the 4 guide screws and top plate cover with 5 hex screws, then it was finally reversed to use on the left side of the saw blade. What a royal pain in the you know what! As for the O-rings on both one-way bearings, you need to me careful that you don't push your material too tight against them since the rubber can compress a little and give you an incorrect size cut! For what this costs, I would look for something better and easier to use (that has instructions)!

Nicely fabricated in aircraft billet aluminum with easy to read graduations, and smoothly operating moving parts. Very obvious and straight-forward installation and mine installed easily using the 3/8" T-Track.I like the unidirectional roller bearings. First, there are two bearings on the same plane that are far enough apart to provide stability. Second, they feature an elastomer covering that is too hard to deform which would change dimensions, but soft enough to grip the material firmly making the anti-kickback feature effective.I have another thin rip jig that has only one bearing and its surface is smooth SUS so even though it’s unidirectional, its lack of grip allows the kicked-back material to slide by and shoot out the feed side. It may slow it down a little but it's still a hazard. This unit's control method is much better.I did have to reverse the rotation of the bearings and there is no instruction or guidance anywhere. No manual comes with the product, and the Amazon product page photo is more misleading than helpful. See pics for help.Overall, a very nicely done jig that I recommend
