Because this ships flat, when you first get it, it wants to remain in that shape. While a normal square tissue box will keep the bottom and sides in shape (once you use the fastener on the bottom of this holder/cover), the top tends to want to puff up at first, making it hard to get out one tissue at a time. To fix this, I simply turned the box upside down (with the cover on) and placed a one-pound book on top of the upside-down covered box. In the morning, with the book removed and the box turned right-side-up, the puffiness at the top was gone and there was no issue removing tissues from the box as needed.When I first unpacked this flattened cover, there had been a slight plastic sort of smell, but that was also gone by the next morning. I like the look of this cover very much. The pattern and colors are both neutral enough they work in virtually any decor. And this cover seems thick and durable enough to last many years. Much classier and more restful-looking than the plain tissue box.Note that this cover will not work with a rectangular tissue box, but it was a perfect fit for all different (American) brands of square tissue boxes (sometimes called "upright" as opposed to "flat").

I absolutely love the pattern on this -- I got the grey with the lemon tree and bird design. I feel like the execution could have been better, however. It is basically just a piece of vinyl stitched together, and it's very stiff. That makes it look less than polished -- it refuses to lay neatly against the tissue box and does not sit flat on my desk. The opening at the top is also too narrow, so tissues get ripped and do not come out easily. Maybe it will loosen up over time, but I'm not sure I want to keep shredding tissues to find out. Not worth the money.

I am so pleased with this, the design is gorgeous - I love it. I got a red one for Christmas and it was ok, but this is so much better. Good price. Easy to use. Made fairly well. I would definitely buy again.

As a cat fancier and a tissues-in-every-room user, I just love this ultra-cute tissue box cover with three of the cutest kitties you'll ever see on every side. Fits square tissue boxes and is easy to use and change boxes when necessary. Soft PVC can be wiped down with a damp paper towel to clean and is water resistant, making it especially useful in the bathroom and kitchen. So many other designs to choose from, you'll want to get more than one! Recommended.

This cover is so pretty. It matches perfectly with my bathroom and I love that it is not a plastic material so it fits better around the tissue box. The material is soft and smooth and wipes easily. It is very well made and sturdy enough to hold up over time. It simply slides over the top of the tissue box and there is a velcro strip at the bottom that you connect to the other side so the box stays securely in.
