Just had it for a week now, and the product is pretty well made. A few points below:1. Better packaging: The package design has improved drastically from the previous generation. The quality and the pattern make the unpacking experience a pleasant one.2. Design of the product: The small and compact design is very useful when used in the office since it does not occupy much space. Also, having a simple front side is pretty nice. Maybe this could be biased and depends on the users. If you have a limited office space, this should do the work without making a mess.3. Power supply: I also really like the fact that this is a 100W power supply in the same package. It allows for the charging of my laptop, so it's a one-stop-and-go. If not using the power for this particular product, you can also, in theory, use it to charge any C-type product as well.4. One downside is the connections. We could ask for a few USB 3.2 and a USB-4 for the front side. But this is just a minor desire, given the functionality. The price is a little high (although comparable to other products), but as long as it endures quite some time, this should be a worthwhile purchase.I hope this helps for future buyers!

The TobenONE UDS018 is a great little docking station - little in size but big in capability. It has several USB ports with varying transfer speeds (a USB C, 4 USB 3.0, and 2 USB 2.0) and an audio In/Out port. Most importantly for those with several monitors, this docking station has the capability of connecting up to 3 monitors with 2 HDMI and a DisplayPort connection. The set up was easy and quick - it is truly a plug and play as my laptop recognized all of my devices once I connected everything to the docking station (external monitors, printer, scanner, wireless mouse & keyboard, external hard drive, and audio devices).I have a Dell Inspiron 7506 laptop and have not had any problems using the TobenONE UDS018 docking station with my laptop.

I am using this with a twin HP display for work and an HP Elite book 830 G5 and it has been a great little dock. This is primarily used for work so not very data transfer intensive work or requiring a very high resolution display. Looks: This is a nice small block size aluminum case dock with smooth edges and comes with sturdy thick USB cable and a 65 W power supply. There ports are evenly distributed so there is a decent amount of space to plug in/plug out devices without the next plugged-in device getting in the way. There are vent for heat dissipation behind as well which I didn't even notice the first time. Setup/In use: the setup is straightforward and will takes less than a min to get things plugged, no driver installation is required. I have2 monitors and a USB C hard drive and 2 USB hard drives plugged in to test and all work fine. I still have ports available if I do want more devices connected. The 2 USB ports in front are USB 3.1 and can support 10Gbps with 1 USC C a 3.1gen 2 and USB C capable of 10Gbps and 5 Gbps respectively. I do not own a high high-speed drive/device so I cannot confirm you can get that speed but using a 7200 rpm hard drive - the data transfer seems fast and I was able to move files across drives quickly. The displays work fine, and color representation seems okay. I used a Datacolor SpyderX and it did require a few tweaks (I have not used the SyperX before with this laptop so the adjustment on the laptop display required the same adjustment as well). I have also tested the PC wake function and the response is good - By the time you hit the keyword to wake the PC and move the mouse cursor the monitors are already displaying the logon screen which is great as there is no noticeable lag. Things Not tested: I have not tested the SD/micro-SD port read/write speed but again it depends on the card used. Same with the built in ethernet port since my physical network setup will require more than a 25 feet ethernet wire to test. Being PICKY: Overall this a very nice dock and more than what may be needed by an above average user. a) The power adapter could have been better since the power block is bigger than expected and is plugged into the wall socket and uses a relatively thin wire for power delivery. I would have preferred a small power block, and which did not have to be plugged into a wall socket and preferably a USB C input so that you use the same power brick for your laptop if you decide to travel with the dock. For now, you will need to carry 2 power adapters. b) Add a power switch and SSD drive enclosure to the dock: Tobenone sells a MacOS dock which has these extra features and would have liked it if they were part of this dock as well.
