My sewing machine no longer skoots across the table and the foot pedal stays in place. This product functions as described. It's worth the money in my opinion, and I expect this product to last many years .

These mats are great to help with machine vibration when using my sewing machine. It's not a big machine, very small in comparison with other much more expensive models, but it's noisy and makes the table shake a little. I used the large mat with my sewing machine and the little mat as a base for the front of my Brother Skitch machine. It's a great value for what you get. Two very well made, and durable, cushy mats that work exactly as advertised. I love that they're black too. A++

These pads are very effective at removing machine vibration. They also are good for cushioning and minimizing slippage. We use the small pad underneath the sewing machine’s foot pedals. Our sewing-embroidery machine has two peddles for different functions. The small pad holds both quite well, side by side.The larger pad is an adequate size for sewing machines but not for some of the larger sewing-embroidery machines. Our picture shows one of our newer sewing only machines. The pad fits that just fine.

This is basically a Neoprene-type pad with tiny silicone grips on it. The pad is 5 mm thick and does a good job muffling the sound of a sewing machine. But it’s new, and my wife’s main sewing machine weighs a whopping 35 pounds. All that weight is pressing down on the mat on 4 little feet, and I’m guessing that once it’s fully compressed under those feet, the muffling advantage will be greatly reduced if it exists at all.With that in mind, I think this is best for either smaller, lighter machines or as a temporary pad. As a temp thing, the neoprene would have time to bounce back from compression, and the dampening effect would probably last a good long time.For now, it’s working well, but she’ll most likely end up with it under her lighter serger or smaller machine. As far as the additional foot pad, it works very well.I hope this helps!

I was thinking outside the box when I chose these to use for my jewelry craft desk. I am currently gathering supplies to learn wire wrapping so these pads are going to come in handy to muffle sound and minimize vibration on my wood desk, when I need to wire harden or shape wire plus the embossed rubber will hold my steel bench block in place. They are of excellent quality; they are thick and cut to perfection. This set is a sweet deal!

I don't have to chase my foot pedal around the floor anymore! This pad stays in place and my foot pedal stays on it! This makes a huge difference in my sewing time. The larger pad is not large enough for my big machine but works well under my smaller old machine that likes to make the whole table shake. The pads came rolled up tightly but after about a day they flattened out nicely.

My wife was complaining about her sewing machine pedal moving around on the carpet, so I decided to order this for her. She says the pedal does not move anymore at all, and the pad under the sewing machine reduced vibrations in her sewing table so she is delighted! The pads were rolled up for shipping but they quickly flattened out. There was a slight smell at first but it was not noticeable after a day of use.

Flattened out nicely after about a day. No strong chemical smell, either.For anyone with a Featherweight or something similar, this should work pretty well..
