While using the brush side, the bristle would fall out or pull. The item was easy to use and fit into places that needed cleaning on my sewing machine. The lint would cling to the bristles which I liked. This is an oil-based machine, so the bristles did absorb the oil. Discoloring occurred on the bristles.

They are cheaply made and are starting to fall apart.

These are very economical. The metal part is a little flimsy because it bends easily, but it has a little swivel where the brush attaches so the brush itself moves around and gets into small places.

If one brush had short, stiff bristles to clean the sewing machine dogs and crevices they would be 5 star. As is they just don't do a complete job of getting lint and dust out.
