Due to the low coefficient of friction UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) Polymer (plastic) has, it is ideal for sleds where repetitive sliding is necessary.
VERY SLICK AND SELF LUBRICATING
UHMW Bars has a very high abrasion resistance, they won’t leave any residue, dust or shavings. The non-stick surface is also very easy to clean.
EXTREMELY DURABLE
They are ideal for constant, repetitive use. UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) Polymer (plastic) is 10 times heavier than regular high-density polyethylene for stability. UHMW won’t expand or contract like wood does, it does not absorb moisture and will not swell up over time due to exposure.

A little wider than what I needed, but that’s my fault. Width of product was accurate. There were no screws provided. Pre drilled holes are there. Just be prepared to buy the screws you need.

I bought these for a forty year old Craftsman table saw. I made a sled for it. They were oversize. After cleaning and stoning the slots on the table saw to be sure there were no burrs I used an old sharpening stone to sand down the sides to fit the slots. i used a razor knife to put a slight chamfer on the corners and made them fit perfectly. They glide smoothly and will work. Just don't expect them to fit your table saw perfect right out of the box. Better a little to big than too small.
