This accommodates quite a large hose (we have a 100 foot hose on it). The installation was pretty straight forward if you're handy, but not impossible if you're not. The built in cabinet is a nice addition for different nozzles or soaps. The only complaint is that it is a bit difficult to open at times, but that just means there is no fear of it popping open during storms and wind (which we've had)

I was setting up my garden and wanted a dedicated spot to store my hose. I already have a few Vego products, so I decided to order this hose holder.You receive a hose holder that mounts with 4-6 screws (all hardware included, screws are Phillips head). I mounted mine on a 4x4 using 4 screws. I found it difficult to mount because my battery drill did not fit properly in the storage area/where you insert the screws. Even with marking and drilling pilot holes, this was difficult and uncomfortable.The storage area is generous and holds my gloves and a few snipper tools.I would probably not order this product again because it was frustrating to install even with pilot holes The price of $25.95 (at time of review) seems reasonable considering comparable products. I do like that this one has a storage area!

Perfect hose holder with storage. The storage capacity seems a bit larger than some others that I have. It can hold a small gardening tool as well as some gloves and smaller items. Seems sturdy and it is easy to install. You might want to use your own screws, as like with most items that come with screws, they are not the best quality and strip easily.

This Vego Garden Hose Holder is awesome!!! I have tried so many different hose reels and pots and nothing has kept my hose organized like this hanging hose holder. It’s pretty easy to install and just looks so much better than a reel. My hose stays off the ground, neatly wound so it remains unkinked and I love the little storage area, it’s the perfect place for the sprayer and a few small tools! Well priced and sturdy- this is a great buy!!

This looks so much better than what we had before and was a breeze to install. It came with the necessary hardware to install, too. It’s hard durable plastic that I think will last quite a while. The storage option is really handy and I didn’t know I needed it until I had it. We got the green one and I really like the way it looks. Overall, highly recommend!

I know most people would buy this to store water hoses outside. I live in an area during the winter that freezes heavily so water hoses need to be brought inside or you risk having them damaged by the ice. So, I hung this inside my garage for winter storage of my expandable fabric water hoses and spray nozzles. The storage bin door fastens securely and holds the spray nozzles very nicely. It was also easy to install with just a level and a drill. I used the screws as wells as the drywall anchors provided to make sure it was secure to the wall of my garage, though. Once in place it was very sturdy and looked nice. The size is perfect for holding my water hoses and spray nozzles. But, I figured... What the hey! During the spring and summer time when I'm using my long power cords for yard tools lot, I could store them on this also for easy access. It worked great! Now I have a place to store my water hoses in the winter time and my long power cords during the spring and summer, too!

Very sturdy. The storage pocket is larger than expected. 6 heavy weight screws and wall anchors are included. This was a perfect solution for me.Two things worth noting:1) The door is held by two bumps seated in notches. This snaps in sharply and is somewhat hard to open. But I think that's a good thing. The connection will wear, in time, and the door will be easier. (If it was easy now, there's a chance it wouldn't stay closed, later.)2) The unit has keyhole slots in the back. (That's so you can install the screws partially, hang the unit on the screws and then tighten the screws.)Except, the screws are so heavy duty, the heads are too large to fit through the slots.Hint: After pre-drilling, run the screws in most of the way (unless you're using the wall anchors) and then back them out. That will make them easier to install, when hanging the unit. Also, a little PAM spray (or some kind of lubricant) on the threads will help.
