I homeschool my kids, and one challenge they often face is accurately measuring the passage of time. If they’re doing something they really enjoy, an hour seems to go by in minutes, but if it’s something they dislike, fifteen minutes can feel like an hour. My daughter in particular struggles with time management, so I got this visual timer to help her visually see time passing in front of her eyes. I also liked the interactive to-do list, which I thought would give her a sense of accomplishment. Who doesn’t take satisfaction in checking off the boxes on a to-do list?So far, it’s been working out really well. Each day, we reset the to-do list, and my daughter begins working on her tasks. I usually set the visual timer to one hour for each subject. Once the time expires or she completes all of her assignments, she can check that subject off on the list. This allows her to see her progress and eliminates any confusion about what she has left to do. The alarms really come in handy when we need to do something at a specific time; like keeping track of a science experiment’s progress. The unit itself is easy to operate and you can customize the settings to your liking. It runs off a rechargeable battery (USB-C), which seems to last forever. We’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and the battery-life indicator hasn’t budged from full. The screen brightness can be adjusted, and you can choose between two alarm styles: audible beeps or a buzzer. In addition to the alarm for the visual timer, you can set up to 3 alarms to go off at a specific time. For the checklist, it comes with a pre-printed to-do list and several blank ones, so you can either use the ready-made list or create one of your own.Overall, I’m very pleased with this timer. It’s really been helpful in making my daughter more aware of the time and using her time more effectively. She loves being able to check things off her list and looks forward to earning a reward for her efforts. I think it’s a wonderful tool for both kids and parents, and I would recommend it.I hope this was helpful to you! Thanks for reading. 😊

I have several ADHD kids in my house so we were excited to give this timer and task tracker a try. It is kind of confusing how there were 2 timers but one was labelled a countdown and the other one a timer. And only 1 at a time works. My daughter used the countdown timer most of the time, which is more manual and counts down anywhere from 1 minute or 59 minutes. The smiley face and frowny face on the bottom of the list weren’t clear at first, even with examples, but it looks like it’s supposed to be a reward and consequence. We just used it as a positive thing to try to do while working and a negative thing to try to avoid.Easy to use, helped my daughter stay productive, who has struggled staying focused before.Has adjustable settings for buzzer, ringer, brightness, volume, etc. which are very nice to have.Manual checkbox ‘switches’ next to list items is easy to use even if not using power/timer features. Replaceable papers for lists is nice, but they’re not super secure. has 8 slots for list items, which is good for younger kids and maybe middle kids, too.Has a kickstand which we like a lot.

Easy to use, long battery life, lot of task sheets so you can easily switch between multiple list of tasks. It comes with a big visual timer and size is perfect to be readable from a decent distance. It has backlight so can be used at night and the alarm is loud enough to get the attention but not bother out.I already purchased a second one for our kid to use. It's been life changing.

The ADHD Timer and Visual Timer in One. This cutting-edge gadget is more than just a timer; it's a full-featured time management system made to assist children (and adults!) in staying organized at home, in the school, or even in the workplace.A Gamechanger for Morning RoutinesMornings used to be a challenge in our family. My kid would become sidetracked, lose track of time, and ultimately neglect an important task, such as cleaning his teeth or packing his backpack. However, since the introduction of the 3-in-1 Visual Timer, things have altered considerably. The timer has a visual countdown function that displays how much time is remaining for each job. This has changed everything for my kid, who relies heavily on visual signals. He can see the clock ticking away, which helps him gauge how long he has to perform his morning ritual. The list includes duties such as getting dressed, eating breakfast, brushing teeth, packing his backpack, and preparing for bed.ADHD and Other Conditions Can Be Met by This TimerThis timer's ADHD-friendly design is one of its best qualities. The visual countdown and checklist system offer much-needed structure for children (and adults) who have trouble managing their time or maintaining concentration. The timer is ideal for use at home, in the classroom, or even while on the road because it is lightweight, simple to construct, and silent, eliminating extra noise or distractions. In order to adapt the timer to various activities during the day, it also comes with extra task cards. This timer adjusts to your demands, whether they are related to study, housework, or dinner preparation. An Instrument for Self-Sufficiency and Self-AssuranceThe way this timer helps my youngster become more independent is what I like most about it. He can now manage his time and tasks independently, so he doesn't need me to tell him what to do next. He can clearly see how much time he has left thanks to the visible timer, and the checklist helps him stay focused on his top goals. Additionally, he gets a valuable sense of accomplishment after doing each duty. Seeing how much more capable and self-assured he has gotten since we began utilizing this tool is astounding.Suitable for Work, School, and HomeThe timer is useful in a number of contexts, even if we mostly use it at home. It is a tool that teachers may use in the classroom to assist pupils focus during group projects or classes. It may be used by professionals in the workplace to oversee meetings or job assignments. Naturally, it's also a lifesaver in the kitchen for baking or dinner time!I strongly suggest the 3-in-1 Visual Timer & ADHD Timer if you're trying to find a method to give your child's routine—or even your own—more order and attention. It is extremely effective, user-friendly, and practical. This timer is an essential tool for maintaining organization and focus, whether you're running a busy home, classroom, or business schedule.

I’m an adult and although it looks like it’s made for a child, it’s a very helpful tool for me as I’m neurodivergent and have time blindness. I think it’s way too pricey for it to be made of plastic though and have considered returning it based on what I paid for plastic. Make an adult version with the same functionality, but more attractive lol…

Since getting this task timer for my autistic daughter, we've been primarily using it for keeping her on task during homework time, reading time, or other things that require her to be conscious of the time, and it's been working great. The time and date are clearly visible on the clock, the timer is almost too easy to set, and the option of adding chore or task sheets is great for setting up routines, establishing boundaries, or promoting the independence that most kids my daughter's age crave. When she needs to practice one of her subjects, she'll just grab her task timer, set it for however many minutes she's going to practice, and just does her thing. My biggest issue, and this is very personal but worth mentioning, is the beeping alarm. Being that I am hard of hearing/have a LOT of hearing loss, the beep is brutal, no matter the volume. I have constant (now normal to me) ringing in my ears and then sometimes, other layers of ringing can also happen on top of the normal ringing; as a result, the beeping can be downright crippling to hear sometimes. This applies doubly if the beeping is unexpected, as the pain can feel like your brain is about to turn to ooze, like your head is going to explode, or even like your brain is being forcibly factory reset. I can't imagine the beep will be any easier to hear once I've adjusted to my new hearing aids, but I have hope that they will and will update either way.Like I said, it definitely doesn't apply to everyone's situation, but I felt it was worth warning others who may have similar auditory issues/struggles, and I definitely didn't dock anything for this issue.

“This is one of the best gifts you’ve gotten me, hit it out the park top tier” said my boyfriend. I saw his time management improve 100% literally overnight. He has ADHD, anxieties and struggles with procrastinating even though he’s highly motivated sometimes. But now, he gets up at 5 AM to prepare for his day, study, work, read and ready to get back in the gym too. He even uses it for me so now every time I say “I’ll cook in 5 minutes babe”, all I see is him setting a timer then being so happy once it goes off 😂 I’ve created a monster low-key, but a driven and well-organized one who prioritizes every hour of the day now & barely procrastinates. Of course this doesn’t solve his adhd and struggles to focus forever but my God the improvement it makes is so worth it and CAN be long term if he continues this way. It makes me so happy to see him carry this thing everywhere around the house and prioritize his purpose and goals! Get it for your man ladies if he struggles with the things I mentioned.

I used to use (and still have) two separate products that do the job this one (1) does, and I'm so, so happy I ran into something that puts it all together. If you've heard of the pomodoro method for studying or task accomplishment more generally, I can't recommend this enough. If you haven't, and you want to help yourself or someone else, like a friend, colleague, or child, I'd *also* recommend it.Here's a quick rundown of the features I fell in love with:- First off, the timer. Up to sixty minutes or TWELVE HOURS! My old timer does minutes only, and while there's no precise minutes and hours setting since you're turning a dial, I haven't run into a situation where I needed to set a very precise number of minutes and couldn't use the clock's dividers to set a general timer for myself.- Secondly, the clock and alarm. You get an hour, day of the week, date, and month clock (with an AM and PM display if you prefer that over the 24 hour style like I do) and you can set precise alarms for a specific time of day. I haven't used that one much because I have a different wake-up alarm on my phone that means I can't accidentally snooze it and that ensures it won't turn itself off after five minutes unless *I* manually turn it off.- Third, the integrated to-do list/planner. My old planner came with paper cards only that couldn't be re-used, and while this one also includes one-time-use paper cards for tasks, it *ALSO* comes with two dry-erase markers and one card you can use them with! Which means, if I were to use up every single paper card, I'd still have the white-board-marker compatible one!- Fourth, a *RECHARGEABLE* USB-C battery! I don't have to worry about finding or changing triple or double As anymore! I charged it well over a month ago by now and haven't needed to recharge it since! There's a little battery display that keeps me up to date on that too!The only and I mean *ONLY* complaint I have is about the kickstand that lets you prop the timer up. Every time I end up folding it flat and need to pull the kickstand out, I worry about breaking it because it's *very* firmly held in place and needs a decent amount of force to almost break loose... It's a little bit nerve-racking, so if that were fixed, I'd easily give this 6/5 stars.I like having something I can physically touch and look at without needing to wake-up and unlock my phone, and this does exactly what I want and need it to. I love it. No major complaints. 5/5 stars, would HIGHLY recommend!

Good product. Great quality. Took a star because it would be better if there were dry erase sheets instead of or in combination with the paper sheets
