I got those to use as a wrist tether for my cellphone. It would do an excellent job. It's just too big for a cellphone. Especially when you want to put it in your pocket. This is more suitable for heavier duty uses. It's good for the price, but for a camera or something larger.

Recently switched my Canon DSLR camera from using a shoulder strap to using one of these clasps that attach to your backpack strap. I like that it holds the camera more firmly in place and it doesn't swing around as much especially when hiking. The drawback to this system is when it is disconnected from the system, you have to hold on to the camera well and hopefully never lose your grip. This strap serves as a protection against the unintentional drop. It goes on and off quite easily and once being worn, doesn't feel like it's there. Was glad to make this part of my regular system.

I have to say that I really don't like camera straps. They just get in the way but often feel like a necessary accessory to safeguard the camera from accidental drops. They also make it easier to carry. This item is a compromise between having a secure tether while not being encumbered by a full strap. It seems of good quality and strength and although it's not something I would use to carry the camera, simply slipping the loop around my wrist gives me added peace of mind.

As the saying goes, "the strength of a chain is only as good as it's weakest link."The product comes with a decently strong, braided wrist-strap cord. The weak part falls on the thin nylon cord that attaches to the camera. I wouldn't trust it to safely hold an expensive full frame camera/lens. Maybe with a light-weight vlogging camera, such as the DJI pocket 3, it might be ok.

Decent strap. Loop is a little thin, so not sure I would trust it with anything heavier than a point and shoot or small mirrorless.

This lanyard is the missing link (literally) to my flashlight that I'm still in disbelief the manufacture omitted from its inclusion. My last one included their own branded lanyard but it wasn’t nearly as nice as this one is. The combo I’ve created with VKO camera wrist strap, climbing rope, is like PB&J.Some would say; it’s just a lanyard. While others, like myself who rely upon our equipment to work when & how we need it to would argue the importance of having a good quality lanyard such as this one. There is a good reason why The US Military/outdoorsman/camping community choose nylon over other materials. In their gear selection.Pound for pound it’s the best option for strength and durability. The material is a good quality nylon cordage (not the cheap polyester cordage found in a lot of products these days) which also makes it light enough as to not add extra weight or bulk. This lanyard feels comfortable and provides a good grip. I especially like the little leather sliding adjuster which allows me to strap it in tightly. This strap is quality you can trust and at $9.99, it’s a great deal. I’ll be picking up a couple more for other equipment.

So, I recently got this camera strap and the first thing I noticed is how sturdy it feels. The fact that it's made with 6mm nylon climbing-grade rope definitely gives you confidence when carrying your camera. I actually used it with my Canon R50 V, and it held the weight really well, which is great. What's also nice is how comfortable it is on your wrist. The leather part seems to be designed well for adjustments and just feels good. And on top of all that, it actually looks pretty premium and stylish. You can tell they put some thought into the design, even down to the metal details on the leather. Considering all of this, I'd say the price point feels very reasonable for the quality and features you receive. Overall, it seems like a really solid strap and a good value.
