I have barely had this for 7 weeks now. This morning while refilling my reservoir I noticed there was brown stuff on the bottom. We have only used filtered water in it, so when I touched the screw at the bottom the brown stuff CAME OFF IN MY HAND! There was rust EVERYWHERE! This is not fit for human consumption! This could make someone very sick!

The handle on this is worthless. It catches really badly at the top by the lid, and it snapped off and broke after only a couple of weeks of use. I am going to take a chance on one more, because I’m hoping we just had a dud. We drink a lot of coffee during the work day, but anymore of this and I am done!

The screw on bottom get rusted after few use.

Purchased in February and by April I noticed a substance that might be rust from the screws inside the reservoir. Very disappointed this only lasted me 2 months. Next time I’ll buy brand name for sure.

After my original K-Cafe reservoir cracked (RIP, old faithful), I needed a replacement fast. This one technically fits my machine, so it’s functional—but it’s not a perfect match.The tank holds water and the lid fits fine, but the issue came when I tried to attach my water filter to the bottom. It didn’t snap into place like it used to. I had to twist it awkwardly just to get it to stay on, and even then, it’s clearly a little off. Most people probably won’t notice, but if you know your machine well, you’ll see it’s not quite lined up right.It works in a pinch and I’m glad I didn’t have to replace the whole machine—but just know, this is more of a “close-enough” replacement than an exact fit. Hopefully it holds up better than my last one!
