For an avid aquafit participant, this set may not work as it is exactly as described, very light weight and provides a very light workout. Therefore, I am unable to use it. These may better suit the needs of those with shoulder or arm issues where any lifting or water resistance may be more challenging.

These are much smaller than the aquatic dumbbells I use at the gym, so I didn’t have high expectations for them. Their size made them a good candidate for traveling to a relative’s home where I could use her home pool for an extended stay.Although I don’t get quite the workout that I get at the gym pool, these dumbbells provide much more resistance than just moving my arms through the water. And they will be great for my relative to use for home aqua therapy as she regains strength from a recent surgery.

These dumbbells are a game changer for my water workouts. The design is excellent, and they’re easy to grip and comfortable to use. The material feels durable, and the buoyancy is just right, providing a great resistance that helps target muscles effectively in the water. Great for improving both strength and endurance. Whether you’re doing water aerobics or just looking to add more resistance to your pool workout, these dumbbells are perfect for a variety of exercises. They’re also lightweight and easy to store. If you’re looking to level up your water fitness routine, I highly recommend.

I have not yet used these but look forward to warmer days when I can exercise in our pool. Those days are fairly soon here in FL and I am glad to be prepared for water aerobics. I have used similar tools in the past and it is surprising how much resistance they created for strength training in a pool. These seem to be better made and the it looks like they are less likely to leak and fill with water.

These are nicely made water weights for exercising. The blue parts are smaller than a different pair I currently own, but I actually like that about them. They will be easier to take to the pool or traveling because they aren't as bulky. They might not give quite as much resistance in the water though, due to this fact. It's good to have options to use for different exercises, kind of like when lifting weights. I will use these for some exercises and my larger ones for other exercises. The part where my hands go fit perfectly. I do think these are sturdy and will hold up well, so do not hesitate to buy them, especially if you are looking for a smaller size.

These are not offering a huge amount of resistance, so if you are trying to build muscle in the pool this may not be the right choice for you. However, if you are just starting out with pool exercise, or are just looking to tone up the arms a bit while in the pool, these dumbbells are a very good option. They are easy to hold, not slippery, and perform fine for toning with light resistance.
