This particular receiver has slightly longer bolts which help with the installation. No problems installing. All holes match up. Could not be easier.

Most youtube videos show drilling a hole in the bumper cover, there's one i watched you remove 4 nuts and 2 bolts and remove the bumper. I chose to remove bumper. I Removed the bumper and installed the hitch and put bumper back on I was done in less than 30 minutes.

The main instruction pamplet doesn't say anything about rectangular bars or using wire guides, found on another paperThe instructions say 3/4in socket, but not the right size and the nuts start rounding off(cheap nuts). Replaced the nuts with grade 5, didn't even get to 100obs torque before the bolt broke(guess they aren't grade 8). The top bolt is gold, everything else is black. Then it says to use a 1/2" Allen socket, to big, but it shows a star socket. Even an auto shop didn't have one to fit right, finally used a large star and was able to torque right. Instructions say top bolt 130lbs and bottom nuts 3??, ain't no way.Otherwise the hitch itself feels sturdy.
