Ok, now I know you gswhat you pay for.. so , that beeing said.. the cables are on the small side, and of corse cables are copper clad aluminum. But they usenext size up dinse fittings. To big for my cheap lil welder. I just used my used fittings.. cables are longer than expected, and they used furrels in the ends so setscrew doesn't tear the wires. The rod holder is beefier than exp. Strong clamping spring to hold welding rods well.. ground clamp is on. The lite side of things. But considering the ridiculously low price?. U can't find anything cheaper price anywhere.. and in a pinch. As long as ur not trying to weld one inch plate or anything crazy. Works fine on small 110v welder..

First...what a stinger! I'm known around my mill town for having the firmest walnut-crushing put-'er-right-there handshake, but the spring on this stinger is strong. Strong is good, for connectivity, obviously, and there's no way any electrode will wobble out once it's clamped in, but yeah, it's strong. With substantial cable, too.The stinger looks solid, although the plastic looked brittle...It hasn't broken yetThe ground wire and the ground clamp weren't at the same level as the stinger and its cable. The clamp is...ok...and does have connecting copper braiding between both sets of teeth, but that could stand to be a bit more robust.On the other hand, this cable set is hovering at around $20, which is a great price, so take that into account.Important point...Be aware this set uses 35-50mm Dinse plugs. If you have an inexpensive starter welder, you're most likely to need 10-25mm Dinse plugs for your replacement cables...

When I ordered this, I was skeptical that the cables would actually be 25mm² (equiv to 4 AWG, in case anyone's wondering), since a lot of lower priced cable offerings will often sell cables that have thicker insulation with the conductor smaller than the listed diameter. I'm glad to say I was pleasantly surprised by this, since the stranded copper core matches the diameter of 4 AWG welding wire I have on hand.The electrode holder is pretty large. Maybe too big for a lot of people's preference, but that's really gonna depend on taste, so I can't really justify judging it negatively based on that. The jaw spring is stiff, but works in after a few wide open to close cycles. Electrode retention is solid, but only one jaw has a copper face. I don't care for this at all, but it's not enough of an issue to warrant a negative impact to the rating.The ground clamp is stamped sheet steel, and it's not fully deburred (if at all), but isn't any different than other cable combos you get at this price point. If you're upgrading to a cable set of this gauge, you should probably already have (or be planning to get) a quality ground clamp anyway. Either way, the clamp you get in this set is what you see in the pictures, so there aren't any surprises there.So altogether we've got a couple fair points of criticism, but everything's exactly as advertised and described, and it all comes at a great price (especially when you consider the price — cables aren't getting any cheaper these days).

Had this welding electrode holder and ground clamp setup for a couple days and it’s already proving solid. The grip on electrodes is firm, and the 25mm² cable feels thick and durable for up to 300AMP welding.Connections are tight and secure with the Din35-50 connectors, no loose ends so far. Works well with my stick welder and even fits MIG and TIG setups easily. Overall, it feels like a rugged, dependable piece of gear you can count on for serious welding work.

The stinger in this set is huge! I have an old Lincoln 225-S AC welder, with its old stinger. This new stinger is actually a bit larger around the base. Most of the other replacement cables have tiny stingers. Happy customer.

Good length and quality of cable, decent quality ground clamp, huge electrode holder that requires hulk pressure to open up, coupled with small diameter DINSE plugs. If you know welding equipment, you will understand my comments.
