Westbrass was founded in 1935 by two brothers, to serve the needs of all plumbing wholesalers on the West Coast. The product lines at the time included items such as faucets, valves, malleable fittings, etc. After becoming the premier distributor of plumbing products, the company was bought in 1985 by Max Homami. Seeing a boom in the Home Improvement Industry, Mr. Homami had a vision to make Westbrass the leader in Kitchen & Bath Accessories.
The company currently manufactures its own products made of the highest quality materials. Put in a new steel tub. I used this kit and pre set up of drain was simplified. I assembled and used longer piece of straight pipe (the one in the kit was too short), glued enclosed fittings onto tub first then removed the assembly then located the proper position in floor to connect the assembly to drain. The only concern I have is the how long the finish will last, time will tell.

I really like this set, my daughter can easily drain the tub during baths so maybe go with something more difficult to release if that’s a concern. I really like this setup though, feels very premium

Fit great, holds a seal very well and looked great for a while. However in only 18 months the drain completely disintegrated and has to be replaced. We do not have hard water or use abrasive cleaning products. Waste of our money and time. Update I contacted the company twice over a period of a couple of weeks and NO response. What company wouldn’t stand behind their product and honor a warranty? What a disgrace.

The product was installed, but the overflow cap is a metal thread that is easily stripped via over tightening. I have had to use an adhesive to keep it from wiggling. The dream look nice on her first got it, but by the time the tub was in. It was already scratched, so now it’s not black I will just spray paint it

This was a lot easier to put together than the brass fittings I was going to use—and it meets code that requires permanent fittings instead of the threaded fitting that came with the brass kit I was going to use. I had to order from Amazon because my local hardware stores no longer cary ABS products even though my 49 year old house has all-ABS DWV plumbing.Overall, the installation was easy, and the parts were all very good quality. Should last tge lifetime of my new tub.

Perfectly Matte Black and seamless with all other brands within the bathroom, plumber had zero problems installing and works perfect as expected.One note is I did have to order twice because the first one had the slightest nick on the tap drain out of the box, was no problem and easy Amazon return.

The overflow trim peice sits off the tub unlike most where it touches the tub. It still looks good.
