I have tried a number of different magnetic driver bits ranging in price from $1 to $45 with poor results however these bits work well and have out lasted all of them highly recommended these they fit a number of different type/size length driver bits

These are great. So often when I use a magnetic extension, the bit likes to stay in the screw head and that is very annoying. These allow you to use a long one piece bit and still be magnetic without that happening. It is also small enough that it doesn’t get in the way.

These magnets work great for 1 1/4” general purpose screws, but anything longer and you start to lose the reliability of the magnet. 3” general purpose screws don’t hold on at all.If you use small screws, it’s great! If you use a variety of larger screws, I’d recommend finding a stronger magnet

These thing are nothing like the Milwaukee magnet. They are a waste of money.

Obviously these things are to make sure a screw doesn't fall off the end of the screwdriver bit when you're using it single-handed.The magnets are quite strong, and the inside of each unit has a hexagonal shape that grips the shank of the screwdriver bit.With it fitted the tip becomes quite strongly magnetized, holding any steel screw snuggly, meaning you don't have to hold it on with your other hand.I've seen other reviews saying that these don't grip the screws, but you have to remember that stainless steel is not magnetic, so these work with steel or galvanized steel screws only.The only other thing to consider is that they are 27.5mm long, so you must make sure your screwdriver bits stick out at least 30mm from the chuck of a drill or impact driver to have enough of the tip fitting into a screw. This means they can't be used with the tiny bits that fit into magnetic holders, but will work with most common bits that are typically 50mm long.

It works. Easy to turn the Wera KK40 screw drivers magnetic tip. Though the magnetic force is not super strong, it is enough for most small and medium size screws. At this price, it is surely a worthy add-on.

They do work and do the job... Just!! I use a large variety of screwdriver tips in my numerous hex impact driver drills and have tried a large variety of magnetic tips. I initially purchased these hoping they would be as good as the Makita B-42422. The Makita magnet is much stronger (probably X 2) and is shorter. On the shorter impact driver tips, I had to remove some of the extra plastic of these screwdriver magnets for them to work. The Makita is also 3 times the price. and getting hard to find, however I have discovered Makita have released a replacement item "IMPACT XPS Mag Boost" which sell for $4.37ea at the "Orange" Hardware Chain.

These are very handy to keep screwdrivers "magnetic" to hold screws. I placed one on each screwdriver so one would always be available to magnetize the screwdriver bits. and since they are magnetic, I doubt they will fall off.

I recommend these as an alternative id you don't like the makita or dewalt magnetized because they can only be used in one spot which is at the tip of the bit..with these I can use a 9 inch bit for pocket screws and slide it all the way up to the base of the bit and works just as well..
