This handle seems to be very durable. It looks plain, but it’s neat that there are ruler markings on it. I used it to scrape some stuck on stuff from a cast-iron. The middle is thick enough that it seems durable, but also pointy enough that I can scrape things off really well. It was really scrapey. I got this for my soon to be gifted flat top griddle. This scraper is well made and heavy. I am surprised at how balanced it is when holding. It fits my hand perfectly. It takes little effort to scrape with it. It should clean the flap top with ease. But until I get the griddle, I am using it as a dough cutter. It works well for that purpose. I make homemade biscuits quite often. I don't use a regular cutter but a large knife instead. Well, this replaces that knife and cuts beautifully. I can also use it to transfer the biscuits to the pan. I use a piece of canvas as my flour board and this scrapes it clean. Love the sharp edge of it. Does exactly what I want it to do.
