Unfortunately, this tissue box cover was a disappointment. The bright colors, which attracted me right away, fit my intended location. I also like the simple surface texture. Too many negatives, however. The white vertical seam edges are external, glaring, and unsightly. The box is not a box. The top bulges oddly and won’t push down. I tried squeezing and creasing the top edges to form a box shape, but that didn’t work. The sides curve in a bit. The hole at the top is too large, gapes open, and has a white edge. Fold lines show slightly on two sides. After some thought, I decided to have a crafty moment, using supplies I had around. A black marker darkened the white seams and white stitching. Craft sticks and glue helped form a box shape. I removed the unnecessary hook and loop band at the bottom. Why add more white stitches to the outside? The box is still flawed, but at least I can use it without cringing. I will likely replace it, but it’s okay for now, especially at a glance or a distance.

This is listed as a "Retro Boho Carpet Tissue Box Cover," and then the description goes on to mention leather. I thought based on the images that maybe some were faux leather and some were fabric, and it looked like the ones I chose (the neutral colored Boho one) was a carpet-type material. It isn't. It's a very cheap, ultra synthetic leather that looks and feels like cheap rubber. From a distance it's nice, but up close it's pretty terrible. There is no way I would ever use this in my home.

Very sweet tissue box cover. I am using it in my guest bedroom where it sits next to my grandmother's flower vase covered with painted roses. It looks so pretty! These tissue box covers are great because:1. I can buy the cheapest tissues even if the box is ugly because I can hide it under this cover.2. The strap on the bottom keeps the tissue box in firmly.3. The design is so pretty and the colors are soft.In short, I can highly recommend this cover!

I got the "pink floral and grey birds" pattern (or "Color4") version of this faux leather tissue box cover. The pattern is lovely and nicely printed. The cover nicely fits the standard-tall tissue boxes that I buy. It's easy to use. The opening for the tissues is nice and wide. The box is secured by a simple velcro strap that goes under the box. The cover has a *slight* manufacture smell, but I think it will dissipate over time.Another reviewer mentioned that their cover had ugly creases on both sides from being folded during shipping. Mine also came folded, and also has a slight crease on each side, but it's very hard to tell. I think the pattern that I chose makes it harder to see the crease, so keep that in mind as you choose a color. I can't see the crease unless I look at it very closely, and the box doesn't look deformed or anything.Overall, I'd recommend this tissue box cover, at least in a busy color or pattern that would easily obscure any creases in the faux leather due to it being folded.

I'm somewhat of a hermit bachelor, so home decor is not a major priority to me. That's not to say I'm a slob or don't care about style, though; I just don't typically go out of my way to improve the appearance of my place. But even with that being the case, I recognize that little details and touches can make a difference in overall atmosphere.I decided to try out this tissue box holder, largely because I liked the fake wood paneling design. I don't have a problem with my tissue boxes being unclothed, but the idea of giving a fixed style that fits my personal tastes made sense, and I will say this looks very nice on my bedside nightstand.The quality of this cover is immediately apparent. The materials and craftsmanship are top-notch, and I couldn't point out a single flaw. The design, as I stated before, is eye-catching and right up my alley, and vibrantly printed on the PVC leather. It's not glossy, but more of a matte, which works well for the design. There is a sturdy and wide velcro strap on the bottom to hold the tissue box in place for when you need to move it around. Where the material meets at the four side corners there is a white seam that interrupts the printed design, but it is very even and clean, and clearly unavoidable for this type of cover.Generally speaking, I like this cover and have no major complaints. However, the reason I couldn't justify giving it a full five stars is that I can't help but think there are even better tissue box cover options out there. The cool, colored wood panel design actually makes me wish this was made out of polished wood and not just fake leather. It would be heavier and more expensive, but it undeniably would look classier as well. With the soft material it is impossible for it to not be a little misshapen, especially on the top where everything puffs up near the tissue opening. This is not dramatic by any means, nor a real problem, but I can imagine that some people would prefer a sturdier option.Anyone getting this, though, should already know and be aware of the material and that it is designed to be light and easy to use. The price is very reasonable for what it is, and there are a good variety of design options. I definitely prefer the non-floral prints, such as the one I got, but there are some good choices. Ultimately, this is still an excellent option that is definitely a step or two above not using a cover at all.

I was not expecting to get this type of tissue holder. The title said "wood" so guess I stupidly assumed it was wood and my fault for not reading everything about it. I was quite taken aback by what was received. It is like a vinyl cover with a strap on the bottom to secure it. It looks and feels very cheap and homemade really. Definitely not something I would use in my home. I did like the design and bright colors of it and that's another reason I ordered it. I just didn't know it was a vinyl type item and truly, this is to me, a dollar store item. It looks far better online than in person. 2.5 stars
