As a fan of Star Wars growing up I would have loved these as a kid.Now my Grandkids will enjoy them.They are a little young to really enjoy them sensibly but eventually they will catch me playing with them and I will have to share.Built pretty tough, batteries already in there, sounds and lights. Lots of fun!

60 years ago, I knew a boy who would have given anything to get his hands on these sabres. Forward to 2025, and I can’t wait to give these to my grandson for his forthcoming birthday.Being made of hard plastic, they are robust. You’d have to be trying to break one to succeed. I tested one carefully. It extended well, was colourful, and had a reasonable sound. They’ll be a lot of fun. My grandson will love them!The swords are supplied with batteries and are ready to go.

Great little toy for young kids, good for costume relating to certain science fiction stories. Fairly flimsy and wont survive rough handling. Finish is a bit rough but for the price its good enough. One of the swords has an intermittent switch but it was only infrequent.

They're pretty good. Seem decently built, and I don't have any concerns about them breaking during use.The difference between these and real branded light sabers is fairly apparent tho, as these make a weird rumbling noise from the moment you turn them on, instead of the iconic swish during use via a motion sensor.A kid's unlikely to notice the difference if they've never seen a real light saber, but the noise might be a little annoying to parents.

Want to know how to excite boys who are 8 years old, 10 years old and 52 years old? Give them lightsabers. And make sure all sides of the force are represented by providing three sabres of different colours, and yes, including the dark side.The construction of these sabers are top quality. Solid plastic which won't crack or break when the swords clash. The retractable and extendable 'beam' is a great function and makes you believe they are the real thing. You just have to practice pressing the button on the pommel as you fling it with an extending motion to mimic the lightsaber coming alive.The design of the pommel are more from the dark side of the force but that's forgivable since it's really the colours that matter. Having a red, a blue and a green covers all the main characters. Battery is included and it was very thoughtful for it to come with a plastic strip which you need to pull off to allow battery connection within the handle. The best thing was the sound effects that depend on movements and the clashing of lights. Lots of fun and we had to wait til nighttime when we can turn off the lights to get the most enjoyment out of them. The force was with us three today.
