The colors are very true and these are the pens I been looking for forever. They’re wonderful for very intricate artwork because of the size of the pen and the flow of the ink is just amazing for any beginning artist or experience. Artist definitely will be rep purchasing and a great value for the money.

These are gel pens (as opposed to paint). There are times in crafting and art when this distinction is important. And 99 colors are a LOT of colors. That just makes me giddy to think about it. I had nearly perfect bleed-through control on a wide variety of papers I tried. Horizontal storage is recommended.The video gives an excellent picture of how this kit arrives, and how to use it. The 11 trays interlock in the back, then snap together in front. Double check before you lift the set by the handle or you will find yourself playing “99 pick-up.” The acrylic tower is a compact and convenient means of storage. The 6+1/2-inch width slips onto the shelves in my craft area very neatly. The tower is approx 6.5 inches across the front, x5 deep, x8 tall. I’m guessing it would not go well if dropped on a hard floor.I ordered these primarily for art, crafts, doodles, journal decoration, and rock-coloring. They are also good for touching up wood furniture nicks. They are perfect for developing bullet journals. The colors are varied and vibrant. Their coverage is good. Only the yellow pen in my set scratched or streaked. No blobs or hesitancy in laying down color. If you need more coverage (like filling in animal fur) wait for the first layer to dry before adding another. The 0.6mm tip is so useful when you need a fine point, but it also fills in well. Ink seems to last a long time for the use I gave it.

Love how small the tip is so I can get into the smallplaces in my coloring books. Ink flows pretty well.

These pens are great. Opaque coverage. Ink flows smoothly from all pens. Good color choices from 99 pen set. Would repurchase.

The lighter colors are streaky. The darker ones are good. The coverage is great for those. Don't go over the same area twice or the paint gets scratched off.

Great pens with a good amount of ink. Opaque with a good white. Metallics could be better but I'd buy a dedicated metallics set elsewhere if that's what I was after. I would recommend these overall though.
