I got about a 50 percent germination rate with these seeds. I'm not sure about the color yet because they only just sprouted. The quality is so so with the germination.

None of the seeds ever sprouted. A waste of time and money. Disappointing!I chose a one star rating, because I couldn't choose no stars.

Seeds arrived next day. These seeds are smaller than black pepper flakes so counting is near impossible, but I planted an 18 cell tray. I used a narrow butter knife to get 6 to 8 seeds and then tapped them into a small flat bowl. I then scraped them one at a time into a seeding cell so they were spread out. I planted well over 100 seeds this way and hardly made a dent in the quantity left in the bag, so I'd say there are in fact at least 300 seeds in the bag as advertised. Now whether they sprout or not or the kind/quality of plants they produce I won't know for a while yet. I will update this review if there is anything worthwhile to share in that regard, but if the seeds are viable and I obtain a germination rate of anything over 50%, I'd say these are well worth the money at under $10 bucks.FWIW, I seed indoors in MiracleGrow garden soil, in 3 inch peat pots, placed under grow lights on a thermostat controlled heating mat with soil temp maintained at 80 degrees, and a moisture meter used to maintain optimal moisture. So if these don't germinate it won't be due to environmental concerns. With viable seeds I expect to achieve an 80% to 90% germination rate at least. We shall see.Update: only 7 of 18 cells germinated. So about a 10% germination rate. Not sure if seeds aren't fresh or just the nature of working with these seeds. Still if you get 30 viable plants from this bag of seeds, well with the money. Just recommend you plant 2x to 3x the number of cells you need and plant 10 to 12 seeds per cell. If you have to cull excess sprouts that's a good problem to have and you can keep the strongest and healthiest.

From all the seeds only about 30-40% came up, and of those even less started to really take off. Unfortunately an early frost took them out, but still a good germination rate compared to some other options.
