How To Use Your Pool Moose
Attach
Twist the aluminum pole into the threaded hole on the spouted cup.
Extend
After attaching the pole, firmly grasp the cup while extending the pole.
Dip
Completely submerge the Pool Moose to collect water.
Test
Put 5 drops of the OTO-50 and Phenol Red, which are included, into the corresponding color column. Put the caps on, shake, and read your results.
3-Way Testing Capablity
Using Included Chemicals and Comparator
Use the provided tester and chemicals to test for pH, bromine and chlorine. Add 5 drops of the Phenol Red to the pH side and 5 drops of the OTO-50 to the Cl/Br side, cap, shake and compare.
Using Your Test Strip
The 6oz collection cup will allow you to dip your test strip into the water sample and check your results. (TEST STRIPS NOT INCLUDED)
Taking a Water Sample to the Local Pool Store
Transfer the water collected in the 6oz spouted cup into a container that you can take to your local pool store for testing. (CONTAINER NOT INCLUDED)
