I live using a well for all of my water needs and I’m always taking a look at my water to ensure I’m not keeping anything bad to my family. One of the key parameters of how many minerals or how hard your water is is the total dissolved solid. This meter seems to be consistent between Tests and appropriately zeros when I tested in distilled water that I purchased from the store. Pleased with his performance.

I was impressed by the rapid readout of this unit. My city water is hard and the corresponding reading verified the mineralization that shows in the plumbing fixtures. Tested some well water and showed about half the PPM of my city water. The buttons have a good positive click and the overall build exceeded my expectations. The "hold" function is nice since it reads in real time and you don't need to strain to see the reading while it is in a container.

This water quality tester has a large and clear display, making it easy to read data even in poor lighting. The automatic calibration and waterproof design make it particularly worry-free to use. The built-in three-in-one function is quite impressive.

I needed this to test out our tap water. Our county has recently said they were going to up the water quality. This tester proved them correct, it isn't a whole big difference but the water quality is better. I also got this to test the filtered water from our garden hose and it helped me with that task greatly. The tester works properly and is just as described here on Amazon. Easy to use. It arrived in its own small box. Very pleased. Thank you.

This TDS&EC water testing meter is a handy little device to have around for more than just testing water potability.I have a 5-month-old Sundance Cameo Spa in my backyard and I was having water chemical balancing issues so I hired a professional service to come out and handle the water chemistry once a week. The owner of the company said the main reading he keeps an eye on with regards to doing a water change is the TDS value of the spa. He says the total dissolvable solids will increase slowly Even if the spa is not used due to the chemicals. But the more the spa is used the quicker the TDS goes up. He said when it hits about 2500 is when you should be changing the water in the spa.So when I saw this TDS meter which is very similar to the one he uses, I snapped it up so I could check it myself as he does not measure that on a weekly basis.Obviously they are selling this meter to check the TDS levels of your drinking water and any other bottled water etc that you might use but I will get much more use out of it by keeping an eye on the TDS levels of my spa.The meter has a hold button which you can use to freeze the reading after it stabilizes. And also has a nice green back light if you're using it in a low light situation.I've been very satisfied with the performance of this meter and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

I got this to test our tap water against our filtered and bottled water and I was surprised by the results. The meter is easy to use and understand and lets me know where I need to make some changes for cleaner, healthier water at home.

Got this and intended on using it at the camper to test the water quality of the well. We have a 3 stage water filter and a resin water softener and thought this might be easier to test the water (to determine when it's time to recharge the resin in the softener and change filters) but we are getting results quite a ways off from the old test strips... The test strips were showing around a 10 but this water tester was showing around 300... So drastic difference...Going to test some commercial filtered water to see how that scores to determine if it's accurate or not...
