Plugged this in and BAM BABY, our older Inspiron was charging up, back from the dead, like a Spinal Tap song, only without any Stonehenge malfunctions. It has the perfect charging speed for our laptop and the brick did not feel at all worm while we were using it today. Happy camper here!

I admit, I was nervous buying a generic laptop charger online - I've heard horror stories about ruining devices by using the wrong charger. But I really needed a replacement, and Dell charges a fortune for theirs, so I took a chance on this one - and I'm so glad I did! It is way better than I expected.The charger is generic, not an official Dell one. Be sure to follow the included instructions for what order to assemble and connect the charger for the first time. I used it to charge my laptop, which was at 15% when I plugged it in, and within half an hour, the charge had already gone up 33% - and that's while I was playing YouTube videos, on wifi, the entire time. It was fully charged after just over an hour. That's pretty darn good!The value for the money is excellent, the speed with which I received the package was great, and my laptop had no problem accepting this new charger despite it being generic. I highly recommend this product.

I needed an extra charger to keep in my laptop carry case for travel. This fits my Dell Inspiron 15 perfectly. The power supply cord detaches from the power supply box for easy convenient storage. The charging cable itself has a Velcro strap to bundle and secure it for storage. I would say this charger is as good as original equipment at a great price point.

I ordered this for use with a Dell Inspiron 5410 - a model that's not specifically listed as compatible, but the specifications match the original charger. The unit arrived quickly and seems to be of decent quality if a bit lighter than the Dell-branded charger. The barrel plug fits, and the charger works just fine with the laptop. The adapter box is slightly warm after about an hour's use but that's not unusual. This seems like a good budget replacement for the OEM charger or for a travel backup.

Works exactly as my factory Inspiron 15 charger (3535 purchased in April 2025 from Dell) - similar form factor and same voltage. I hope this generic version lasts but only time will tell - wish that the laptop used USB-C but being a budget laptop, oh well. The price is nice and similar to why I went with the Inspiron 15, goes well with my budget-oriented mindset!
