Supplies voltage but the Dell Inspiron laptop does not recognize this as an OEM power adapter so CPU is throttled. Not the fault of the product obviously because it is advertised to work with Dell mini PCs.

Works well with my Dell OptiPlex Micro which is very picky when it comes to power supplies. It usually gives me an error whenever I connect an aftermarket one (even ones rated at 90W). The computer will usually say that the power adapter connected cannot be identified and/or that the wattage is too low. Fortunately, it does not do that with this power adapter from 'Gasmocs' which is a good sign so far. The build quality is decent. It's on par with others. The cord is longer than expected. The adapter has an LED that indicates when it's on. The current price is VERY competitive. Buy it before it goes up!

I've been using this charger for my Optiplex 3070 for a few days now and so far so good. The product works as it should and I haven't noticed any strange operation. One thing I did notice is that the light on the brick is pretty bright, I would say 3 or 4 times as bright as the one on my original Dell cable. Not an issue but just something I noticed. Time will tell how this item holds up.
