I got this to replace an old but still-working non-swivel cable for my Proteus DX3 because the old cable was starting to deteriorate and slough off rubbery grit. Installation was straight forward and I used the correct lubricant on the o-ring to ensure a waterproof seal. It worked great for several weeks. Now, it turns on drives forward two seconds, drives backward 2 seconds and then nothing. I’m assuming it’s the cable since nothing else has been changed and nothing appears broken or amiss with other components. I’ve tried all the troubleshooting recommendations ago no avail.I will try replacing with a non-swivel cable. Feel like this item was a waste of huge waste of money money and wish I could return for a refund or replace with a non-swivel cable.

Swivel broke after less than 2 months of ownership. I know it is the swivel because I can turn the cord in the swivel and get the robot to power on/off

After install it worked fine, but only for a couple times. Then it stopped working. I'm not sure if the swivel leaks or what, but it no longer works,Unfortunately, I procrastinated too long before installing it so I can no longer return it. I went through the trouble shooting advice with no luck.Pretty disappointed.

Bought the cable and had Leslie pool install it on my pool cleaner. Worked for less than a month. Took pool cleaner back to Leslie and they told me the cable is defective.
