This product fits perfectly in my Black and Decker trimmer. Initially, I was buying cartridges from my local hardware store, which were much more expensive. I even tried re-filling the cartridges myself. Eventually, I discovered these pre-filled cartridges, which fit perfectly at a lower cost and save me time and money.Remarkably, buying these pre-filled cartridges is cheaper than purchasing a roll of trimmer line and re-filling them myself.Very recommended

I am not a fan of Proprietary Inks, Batteries and now weed eater strings. So, this was a perfect alternative. The orange caps do break, so I'm glad I got this package. For what this cost, it's cheaper to buy these than to buy bulk string and restring these from the named brand.

This trimmer line is exactly as the original B&D equipment. I did not see any difference. And it is a lot cheaper.

As you can see from the photos above, cap on the left (OEM) fits with a slight gap but the cap on the right (this product) has much larger gap and pops off from time to time. These gaps are caused by spring inside that pushes the spool toward the auto feeding lever. I believe the caps should be made with stronger material. Spools for this product seem to work but a bit tight compared to the OEM, causing the auto feeding to get stuck from time to time, forcing you to open the cap and jiggle the spool to feed again causing more pain.

Excellent value and cost effective. Definitely better than paying for the overpriced branded product. Works just as well. At Home Depot it costs $20 for only 3 replacement spools and no covers either. I'm pretty confident all these trimmer spools are made of the same quality and materials and manufactured from the same factories. The only reason why the branded products are more expensive is because of the name brand.Just make sure the spool line is connected through the small hole. This keeps the spool line in control when it goes through the autofeed. You might have to take it out of the small hole to get the spool line longer, and then reinsert through that small hole again. Just be real careful since the spool line can get loose. Also the original spool cover and spring seems to work better than the replacement covers and springs.
