Pretty easy to install. I didn't need directions, push and twist the cover on the trimmer, unravel the line a bit, put it through the feeder hole. Piece of cake. Will it last? We'll see. So far so good.I like how compact the spools are and the easy installation. The line seems to feed well into the trimmer.

I have been ordering trimmer string. for my Greenworks trimmer for years. somehow I went through 2 spools today. Much of the time was spent trying to get it to work properly. It unspooled when setting up, spooled wrong when done by hand, I had a partial spool left over and there were no issues with that. I don't know what went wrong. I do not appreciate throwing money away like this.

It's funny how it seems The reviews get messed up-so my review is for the -Greenworks .065-Inch Single Line String Trimmer Replacement Spool 3-Pack 29252I am using the Model # P2052 Ryobi ONE+ 18-Volt Cordless String Trimmer/Edger - I wanted a lower cost alternive to the ryobi brand reals and string. Ryobi wants $20 for 3 spools- so these are half price. I guess I am lazy and don't want to rewind the spools-both Ryobi and Greenworks spool look like you can just buy the string in bulk and rewind it- BUT I DONT!?!!!Anyway, these spools look and function the same as the Ryobi spools. These are a single line and work well with the "auto-feed" (you do NOT have to bump the wacker head on the ground to advance the string). So far I have trimmed my yard 2 times and have no issues. I have no scientific way to measure "how strong the line is"- I am trimming basic regular wimpy weeds- and the line does its job. The strength of the line to me is ok. I am NOT using the cordless/Battery operated single trimmer to "bush hog" an abandoned lot!?!!! If I was I would be using a much different tool and line type.So yes I am happy with the product - Greenworks .065-Inch Single Line String Trimmer Replacement Spool 3-Pack 29252When it was shipped one spool did break free from the 3 pack- no damage just free. Like whatever-you have to remove it to use it!?!!

The extra spool of trimmer line works well and presents no issues. The rest of this review is for the string trimmer, blower, and hedge trimmer I got from Greenworks.I got the blower at the same time as I got the Greenworks hedge trimmer and electric weed trimmer. All 3 preform flawlessly! Despite the manual saying the battery would come uncharged, it had about half a charge when it arrived. It took about 2 hours to charge up the battery to 100%. The charging process was easy, and I really like the button on the battery that when pushed shows via several LED lights how much charge the battery has remaining. The blower is strong enough for clearing off your sidewalks, driveway, street, etc. You probably won't want to use it for moving huge piles of leaves in the Fall. The Hedge Trimmer is a beast! It was super powerful and chewed through limbs at least as thick as the corded hedge trimmer I used to use. The weed trimmer is exceptional as well. It took care of all my trimming with no issue, and the edging looked superb along my sidewalk. I really like the Greenworks design which pivots the head of the trimmer 90 degrees to enable edging (vs. having to loosen and move your handle on the trimmer shaft like so many other brands do).But the most amazing thing about the entire Greenworks system is that incredible 6.0 AmpHr battery! I took care of all the weed eating, then used the blower on the sidewalks/driveway/street and garage, then used the hedge trimmer on two long sections of overgrown bushes. Even with all that work, the Greenworks battery was only 1/2 used up!! It far exceeded my expectations. I'm even considering buying the Greenworks 2.6 AmpHr battery since I'm not sure I need so much power and could save some weight in use by using the lower capacity battery. If you have a really large yard, then the 6.0 AmpHr battery from Greenworks whips those of all other manufacturers and is the one for you.All three of my tools worked perfectly right out of the box so I can't comment on Greenworks' service or warranty. But I bought from Amazon just in case there were any issues. I'm so happy with these 3 tools, that I'm considering buying the 10 inch Greenworks chainsaw and the 8 inch Greenworks tree pruner from Amazon as well. Amazon and Greenworks: both highly recommended. I'm not affiliated with Greenworks or Amazon in any way ... just a satisfied customer of both.I'll be posting this same review for my electric trimmer purchase and my hedge trimmer purchase.
